I think we are all in the "watch the April build threads for updates and perform math" to calculate when that will hopefully hit us mode.
haha I thought I was the only one. Im glad we are all trying to guesstimate our delivery

Mods, should we consider an omnibus merging of build threads now that we are all essentially in the same “wait for shipped” mode? While I am partial to my loyal 5/16 brothers and sisters, it seems like the once important reason for the distinction has been eroded by the large batch hold on the trucks. I think April and May builds are currently all in the same boat.. err… I mean convoy or rail.

I think it will smooth out in a few of weeks.

I like the compartmented conversations, it's easier to track nuances though you're right the same flurry of reports on similar actions (BUILT --> SHIPPED --> DELIVERED) will be happening simultaneously in 8+ threads.

Veto.

Don't want to mingle with certain build weeks as they discriminate... Looking at you 5/30, you kicked me out and pushed me to 6/6. Likely because I didn't have a Lariat and Extended range.

I like the merge idea simply as we can follow a bit easier. However @TaxmanHog would like to keep them separate so I'll go along with that as he had done tremendous work separating and tracking each week, providing reports, etc.

Maybe just add three threads: BUILT, SHIPPED, DELIVERED and move there once it happens?

Not a bad idea, but to keep the traffic to ONLY the DATE of the relevant activity.

No Idle chatter, complaining moaning and groaning about why so and so has not gotten their date yet, etc......keep conversations in the build week threads.

Isn’t half the purpose of these threads to complain, moan, and groan? If not here, then where?

I hereby revoke what I have learned was a highly controversial suggestion. Carry on! And thanks @TaxmanHog for doing all of the heavy lifting!

I agree with you, but I think that place to moan is here - the "Weekly" threads. This way you are complaining and moaning with those in the same time frame/boat as you, not someone 3 weeks after, who is moaning what you moaned about 3 weeks ago

The new threads are a great idea for date only. No moaning in those new threads, nothing but real data as it happens.

Unfortunately most folks won't pay enough attention to actually provide their true "built" date as per the Ford order tracker website. You'll mostly get the Build week and the Blend date. Also Ford has been pretty inconsistent with other models in populating that Built status so I don't know how accurate the survey may be.

As far as keeping the idle chatter, moaning and groaning out of a forum thread, that noble goal runs 100% contrary to the concept of an open forum.
