1. Electrify America, Secaucus NJ Wal-Mart.

Only 3 spaces for a total of 6 fast charge handles (5 CCS, 1 Chademo) and one L2. The rows in this parking lot are so tightly spaced, it is not possible to get an F150 into one of those 3 spaces straight-in - have to angle and block the adjacent L2 charging space. Electrify America App not working for anyone when I was there - showing all chargers in use continuously, forcing those willing to do so to swipe a credit card and pay the full $0.43/kWh with no EA discounts.

Of course, though also of course nobody could contact them in any _timely_ way to be able to charge since their phone hold times were running to 30+ minutes.

This is definitely one to avoid. Even if everything were working it's very tough to get a full size vehicle into any of the far too few spots. EA has other 150kW chargers at multiple nearby locations that are fine.

Almost every DC charger in the USA has issues.
I've been driving EVs for 7 years now and in my opinion this is objectively false.

But some chargers _do_ frequently or almost always have issues. The size of the Lightning is going to exacerbate some of these. My thought was that we could use this thread not to nitpick whether someone _should have been able_ to charge somewhere, but just to note locations to avoid.

My first EV had free DC charging so I used it often or tried to use it often.

I can post photos of people waiting an hour to charge.

All I can say is both news reports mention poor repair status and from my own experiences.

If your area is so good I think you might be the exception.
