So from early morning elation to this from the SM @ Hagerstown Ford:
The truck is still in Michigan. In our experience lately, when a vehicle is put in delayed status, it could be months before it arrives unfortunately. I am not saying that that is what is going to happen to your truck. But I want you to be prepared.

This morning I finally got the Built email and said ETA 6/26/22 - 7/2/2022. Is the date given by Ford just an automated date with no basis in reality?

Four days after getting my truck, Ford tells me to get ready and sends a picture of my truck coming off the assembly line.

Two days ago, someone got in my truck and denied the fordpass connection... I can only assume it was being unloaded from a rail car. Then yesterday, my delivery estimate changed from 7/4 to 6/27. I feel like my dealer could call at any moment... but I would get an email from ford first, right?

No. The Ford emails are never right. Either early or late with estimates that span weeks. Communicate with your dealer. Get the Rail Car number. When it arrives at your destination then call your dealer back.

Sorry, typo. Delivered to dealer 6/24. I won't be able to get it from the dealer for a while, though.

Small world. I'm originally from that small town of Hagerstown as well. I last lived there in 1988. I left by going in the military and I never looked back. My whole family still lives there, but every time I visit, I'm reminded how far that town has fallen since I was young.
