I keep being surprised of these dates for CA deliveries.

I wonder if it's ford being somewhat confident that that can happen, or if that's just an old algorithm at play not factoring in the shipping slowdowns.

I bet it’s an algorithm that might factor in past historical trends or current times from the railways.

Why does all the Ford trackers say Built and no email from Ford on shipping but Ordertrack.app says it's in transit!!!

Checking with Shop.Ford.com, Shop.Ford.ca and Ford.com/buy all say "built".

Why is it that OrderTrack.app has more updated info ?

Do they have special computer mind reading powers ??

He hits some special API's somewhere. I don't think he has disclosed, but from what I've seen, it is correct. So just know the journey has started and the Ford trackers will update soon.

Truly - if he says in Transit - you should be calling your dealer because you likely have a rail car number. That is where the good tracking is. Ford trackers are basically useless at this point anyway.

I did because I clicked that link sometimes 20 more times a day. Good news is my journey should end by this time next week. Another one of those 5/23 builds that clogged things up getting out of the way.

BTW - the question was directed to @TaxmanHog and I jumped in the way - so you may still have better info.

For me personally, I know that I am stuck at the train yard. I could have been there sooner, but even though the vehicle was “built” on the 30th, it didn’t go anywhere till the 6th.

EDIT: I just found that even though the truck got there on the 6th, it was just “scanned” in today as Received | Jul-08-2022, 09:48 ET | Ramp 5M, New Boston, MI

The developer has been asked a few times but has not disclosed details on how/why.

Only 12 people left in the sheet for the 6/13 build week that were built, and 109 waiting in "Awaiting Shipment" status according to ordertrack.app. Most likely more too since not everyone knows about or even reads the forums.

EDIT: now 11... @metroshot was just shipped... lol

EDIT Again: My oversight has missed the others that did not progress down the line into built/production. My mistake...

After a day of delay after OrderTrack.app reported, Ford (shop.ford.com) tracker now shows SHIPPED !

Whoo hoo - it might be tight to get delivery Ford expected dates?
