Well... We are finally here!! After many of us were scheduled then rescheduled only to be rescheduled a couple more times I finally have confidence we will get built this week. Hopefully we see early blends get modules popping Tuesday or Wednesday and maybe shipping the following Tuesday or Wednesday. Of course I'm trying to be an optimist.. I wish everyone good luck for a fast shipping notification.

MD & NJ train routing code, your truck will depart the Rouge by rail, then transfer to convoy for final miles to your dealer

It seems like if it says Rail it’ll be rail to a convoy. And if it says convoy it’s…rail to convoy. Occasionally just convoy.

How can you tell if it’s one or the other?
Mine says Ramp One: CA5R and Convoy

Of the hundreds I have searched ALL say CONVOY.

I have see other vehicles models with rail but never a Lightning!!

SHIPPING
Now our Lightning is built, next we wait for shipping. There are two ways units leave the factory, by Rail or by Convoy (18 wheeler car hauler). Your window sticker will show which way your Lightning leaves.

Generally, Convoy is within a few states of Michigan, Rail is the rest of the country. Your Lightning can leave the shipping yard quick, or it can sit there a while. It seems lately Convoy is sitting a bit, there are trucker shortages really hurting the industry. Rail will ship to a regional rail yard, and sit there until there is a Convoy full to send to your dealer or region.

Hence my confusion since I kept seeing Convoy but yet people are ending up on railcars.

Apologies for the confusion. All I have seen is “Convoy” but what I meant is that sometimes the Ramp designation can give you information on how the unit initially departs the factory.

Is there a ramp designation guide somewhere? How do we know if a ramp is rail or convoy?

Anyone get any information from their dealer? I was telling them I was optimistic for 4-6 weeks to delivery, and they seem to think it's 3-6 months, which seems crazy to me.

Look at the production stat's for the 6/13 build week, it's good and can get much better with the 7/11 week.

I appreciate the work you've been a part of, organizing the data. I wasn't trying to be lazy. You'll definitely have a better "feel" of the number since you're dealing with them so much.

Plus it's another party to confirm our "optimism".

I can not give you stats for the 7/11 week until they are built and delivered, but historically speaking deliveries to the MD/NJ regions you're looking about 45 days of the sample of 8 trucks, with a min 26 days & max 61 days. NOTE this covers a variety of rail drop points for which I can not refine further.
