My order tracker still shows as order confirmed.

My ford account/reservations shows Production in Progress.

As a side note, given some of the recent rate increases, I called my dealer and put the maximum deposit down (20% of the vehicle) on my credit card. I got 2% cash back and my chase card gave me 18 months at 0% with $0 fee.

With 20% down now, I was then eligible for much more favorable EV vehicle financing rates from a credit union.

My sticker is showing Convoy -- does that mean it ships via truck from the plant? My dealer said F150s usually ship by rail. I think shipping by truck is good, right?

Hoping for delivery in August.

Great question. I am convoy also. Destination: A no ADM dealership southwest of San Antonio. Chaparral Ford. Devine Texas.

Convoy doesn:t always mean semi. I also have Convoy, but I will almost certainly have a rail segment to my delivery (I'm in central WA).

If anyone has an explanation for that I'd love to hear why it says Convoy for me.

Great question. I am convoy also. Destination: A no ADM dealership southwest of San Antonio. Chaparral Ford. Devine Texas.

It will be a convoy from the Port of San Antonio railyard. You should see ramp CH80 which is the rail head to San Antonio. I haven't found a dealer in SATX that charges ADM for custom orders, and Cavender Ford wasn't even charging ADM to buy their Pro mannequin... too bad I was a week or two too late in securing it for our research.

Well, no one in San Antonio really considers Northside a real, viable dealership
Red McCombs (and West) do not add ADM to custom orders and I was blown away when Cavendar said they weren't adding ADM to a dealer stock vehicle! It's too bad the consortium members selected the F-150 Lightning as the vehicle for EVESE Year 3 about two weeks after someone placed a down payment on Cavendar's Pro mannequin.

I have Blend day 7/14. My dealer is about 30 minutes from the plant at most. My build sheet says convoy. Once mine says shipped will it likely already of arrived at the dealer? Not sure how that works when it's so close. I'm assuming I'll get it pretty quickly after it's built if there are no issues.

Your truck will start out of Dearborn via rail car going west. Mine going to Oregon did so starting on Canadian National Railways (CNR)…will eventually transfer to Union Pacific. UP will take it west of the Mississippi River to the PNW. Depending on your location in Central WA, it will get offloaded at a rail yard (mine is going to Portland) and transported by a truck carrier to your dealer….don’t get hung up on the term “Convoy”…

Mine is getting shipped to Southgate ford which is only 15 minutes from the factory. I’m thinking the same way you are! Blend date of 7/12.

MD & NJ train routing code, your truck will depart the Rouge by rail, then transfer to convoy for final miles to your dealer
