UP tracking of my rail car now says “Empty, Departed, 7/21 4PM”. No idea what that means and it doesn’t give a location.

Truck should be on a holding lot @ the rail yard, waiting for pickup to dealer.

Same status here. Bet ours are on the same carrier. Mine is headed for downtown Sac. Here's hoping we see Delivered next week!

Well, that is just rude It isn't like my truck can catch back up with that wimpy little 12V battery (which is probably dead by now anyway from sitting for eternity, thank you very much)!

can't be the case that it was unloaded in richmond. would have had to go nonstop through socal. but not sure any other explanation makes sense either though.

Did you ask the dealer for any insights. I guess technically they could truck it from LV, but not very efficient.

Agreed.

I try not to ask the dealer to often. Might wait a few more days before I ask. If I get it before then I’ll try to remember to ask for a VVR regardless as I’m curious.

Just saw one in the wild in Felton. The guy said he loves it so far. He got it at the end of June a little bit early.

Mine arrived for unloading... Where is it at, I don't know, hoping for somewhere in the bay area.

Placed at industry at 8am...

Would say roughly 15 days from Dearborn to NorCal? Or somewhere it can be hauled to the dealer.

So, I’m on the central coast, and have been following along the “train ride to SoCal” thread, but I believe my dealership’s (Paso Robles Ford) vehicles arrive in the Bay Area before finding a truck ride down to the dealership.
I was tracking my railcar from Dearborn and it appears it remained with UP, and was “delivered to industry” on the 20th…which I have been lead to believe is Benicia for UP. I’m waiting for it to find a ride on a truck down the Paso…my vin shows up on United Road, but despite registering my truck (or others from Paso Ford), I don’t get any additional access…anyone have access that might be able to give me some more info?

Ok my train is now empty as of 7:59pm, 7/23.

That was a good 13 hours to unload the railcar and mark It empty.

There is a UP auto distribution center in NE Vegas near the speedway. It may be the only option with the other centers clogging up. It probably was unloaded here:
