Lightbar only illuminates when I approach vehicle?

I am curious when is the light bar suppose to illuminate?

It only seems to illuminate when I walk up, but then isn’t on when driving.

anyone know how to get it to turn on?

It should light up when you put it in gear.

It should just always be on unless you have your lights set to OFF imo.

the lightbar DRL isn't supposed to very bright, right? can barely tell it's there, have seen some videos where it's much more lit up even in midday light.

You have to have the DRL setting to on In your SYNC screen. Directions are on page 116 of the owners manual.

Also, the DRLs will not come on if the truck is in Park.

yes, i checked that they're marked on, and i'm aware only come on in gear, asking more about the brightness.
