I'm pretty happy with the matte finish of this. Seems to keep the finger prints off and was only $20 bucks on Amazon. It installed in 10 minutes and had no issues getting the bubbles out. Its definitely thicker than what the phone protectors are like. It says its real glass. I don't know about that, but it is reasonably thick.

Anyways thought the interior was looking sharp with a few mods and thought I'd share.

I bought the Spigen Tempered Glass Screen Protector

I see the 4.5" & 6" stubby ones all of the time. I ordered this 13" one just because it was less common I guess. No idea how it will do in a car wash yet but it is flexible rubber. It goes a little more than half way up the windshield. Just another $20 mod that was cheap and easy

I like the screen protector. Have you experienced any issues with touch sensitivity or delay? Which product?

A short antenna is on my (short) list of things to do soon. I haven't driven a vehicle with a whip antenna since high school. It was funny looking at it bouncing around on the highway.

I have the OCD screen protector and really like it. I ordered a 6-7" antenna, but can't find it since we're moving in and it's been misplaced.

I feel like the big antenna that comes with the truck flying all over the place isn't ideal, but I also don't think something too short looks proportional to the truck. Does anyone have a suggetion for an antenna that will reach to nearly the height of the cab?

Not sure Im really loving these mods still. The attena I bought has this annoying fake carbon fiber bit at the bottom. Its kind of stupid. Its also flopping around a little while driving. Not really as sturdy as I thought it would be. I ordered a replacement 13" one to see if its any better.

Today I've noticed my touch screen is a bit dim and maybe a little blurry. I hadn't really noticed that before but Im thinking its the screen protector. I put the screen to max brightness and it still seems a little dim. Im also getting horrible glare when the sun shines in through the back window. Not exactly low glare like advertised. Can't decide if this is any better than stock yet.

I’m in agreement, I was looking for a longer one as well, but the pictures helped. Since it’s on the cowl, I might go for an antenna cap/delete and see how that might work. With CarPlay, I don’t see using AM/FM. With it being in the plastic area I’m wondering if it’ll blend in and disappear with just a cap.

Looking
someone explain... why this truck has an antenna anyways? Most cars these days have built in antennas.

It’s like the old “curb feelers” from the 50’s when streets started getting concrete curbing and everyone kept banging into them. Except, the antennae warns the guys standing up with their heads out the sunroof to duck quickly in a parking garage, going into the local DQ drive thru, or picking up another 12 pack at the corner store with a low clearance. Doesn’t work in reverse tho.

Here's mine with the Spigen Glass.tR matte protector.

Love it - no glare and no fingerprints!

Have a small bubble at the volume knob but doesn't bother me (no OCD).
