Could be only me (wouldn’t be first time) to have not realized this, but if only for those still waiting on their trucks to avoid the learning curve:
The funk lid slides into to a selection of sub-frunk channels to create a frunk partition / load stabilizer
The above positions require the sub-frunk to be empty (at least empty in a way to not impede the lid from fully engaging into the channels.
Separately, the half-slot nearest the cab acts to hold the lid vertical while accessing the entire sub-frunk.
