I’ve had my pro since 7/18 and have had zero problems after 2000+ miles. I’ve taken it across the state on a 350+ mile road trip, towed a boat, hauled construction materials, etc. It has been a great vehicle.

My connectivity keeps failing. I have had to do two resets. Appears to be the same modem and module issue report by some Mach E owners.

Spoke to a software engineer at Ford for one hour (different number than customer service). Able to get connectivity with a reset but after 24 hours the modem fails.

This impacts Ford Pass, streaming and telemetry features, but not navigation as that is GPS based.
I am having connectivity issues as well. FordPass advised me to see the dealer and I have an appointment next week. Would be interested to here about your progress and resolution as well.

I am having connectivity issues as well. FordPass advised me to see the dealer and I have an appointment next week. Would be interested to here about your progress and resolution as well.

The issue has been submitted to the “feed back team”. Since my last connectivity reset three days ago I have been okay. However, there is a significant delay from startup to cellular connectivity being initiated.

I have to go to the dealer to get my plates and have the rear vent trim replaced. I will ask the dealer to look at it as well. Let’s keep reporting here about the fixes.

Do not do the the master reset. Just do the Ford Pass Reset. Master reset wipes everything and some services will take 7-10 days to come back.

Today I noticed the same thing on my truck….The speaker grill if pretty thin, flimsy plastic……I think it is warping a little due to the heat from the sun………
I’ve seen that on the two mannequins as well as on my truck and a used one. Unfortunately, I think they are all like that.

I’ve had mine for 24hrs and will be dropping it off for service next week, one of the rear seatbelt tensioners doesn’t retract at all. I’ve manually fed it back in, tried to “loosen it up” by pulling it out, nothing works. A *little frustrating for a brand brand new car with 60 miles on it
If it helps, most QC issues are within the first few months of owning a any newly built vehicle. Hope it's quick look, order and install appt. The fact that over 2 million (low estimate) of these parts yearly, should be local stock.

So far the only thing I have noticed is the center speaker grill has started to come off

Mine came like that in case it makes you feel any better... I had the same "at least it doesn't rattle" opinion.

I also forgot to mention I have issues with the Rain Sensing wipers…. Basically it doesn’t sense anything lol… yes the toggle is switched to on.

My wipers also seem to randomly come on when initially starting it. This seems to be a common issue in the ICE truck also and requires a switch replacement, although it’s unclear if that is really the fix as some still continue to have the issue.

None of these issues a really a big deal to me. The truck is solid.

Under settings or features there is a wiper setting. The wipers can be auto or not.

just took mine off. Six tabs, two close to windshield will split so be careful. Clips in front pop up no problem. There is no flat surface to add double sided tape, none. I’m thinking heat gun next?
I tried a very small piece of clear rubber double tape, and laid something heavy on top of the speaker grill last night, and this morning it was laying flat.

I have had this same issue. Menu not available. No connectivity. I think I know what is happening. They told me the same thing to set an appointment after step 3 below. but I fixed it myself after that by realizing my wife had the Fordpass on her phone... see below.

I think there are two things happening: There is a Fleet Lock that was on my truck preventing the modem from functioning. If your modem is still off, that is probably your culprit. Easy test is to try and connect to your home wifi or go into your connectivity settings and see if you can se any networks.
1: Fleet Locks can be removed by the tech people. They may have already done it over the phone if you called the Ford Tech people. That could be an unrelated item though. The tech people have to get approval to remove it. It was on my truck though so I assume it might be on some others. Came ~60 days after my purchase. After they did this, the modem was able to connect to my wifi at my house. I suspect that this is what is happening with your truck.
2: In my case, I had removed my vehicle from the Fordpass app at some point before. I am not sure this was necessary or not.
3: I had heard that there was an update to the FordPass app during my conversation with the tech people. We tried removing it and reloading it from your phone. In my case, I did this but then could not still add my vehicle back. This is where they told me to make an appointment with the dealer.
4: I then realized that my wife also has the Fordpass app on her's, so I removed the app on hers, as well at that point. Once I did that, I was able to add my vehicle back in my Fordpass App. Everything started functioning again.

Its a long story but I learned how to restart the system and a lot about how the Fordpass app and the modem work.

How to restart the system: Hold the down volume and the Skip button on the steering wheel and hit the lock button with the car on. You get a honk and flashers twice. Forgot if the door needs to be open...

Anyways, hope any of this helps someone going through the same issues.

Edit: Of course, after I post this the connectivity monster pops up again. Again I go through the same issues with not having the modem working for some reason (or it was actually working but not allowing me to see my home network (or any network for some reason). After troubleshooting, they came to the same conclusion that I need to take the truck in to have the modem "hard reset". Of course, after I get off the phone I then realize that there may be something going on with the Fordpass App being on two separate devices. I asked and the guy (for what it's worth) said it can only be on one (not sure if that's true though). SO I redownload it on my wifes phone, remove the truck from that phone. Remove the truck from mine again. DO the key switch thing where you hold the volume down and track skip (right) button for 10 seconds, open the door and hit lock and then close the door. Then add the truck back on my phones FOrdpass app. Then activate it. FYI... The truck cannot be on when you hit the activate button I guess either. Everything loaded right back up and all is working again. Keeping it off my wifes phone for now to remove another variable and we'll see what happens. Still planning on getting the truck into the dealership next month (next appointment available)...

IR - bluecruise attention cameras don’t turn off with power off. & not plugged in.



Don’t think you would notice unless there was a reason.
It has rendered my security system/motion detection unusable.

how to test: with truck off use phone camera aim at either sensor if you see red flashing lights then it’s a problem.

Did you get this figured out? It's rendering my new dashcam unusable because there's a in-cabin camera that is sending motion alerts nonstop when in parking mode. I need these to be off when the truck is off.
