You could always take the Ford financing with the streamlined closing process and then pay it off in a couple of months.

May be worth it vs paying the ADM. No guarantees they won't try to insert ADM in there but I *think* it is harder for them to do so.

Does your Ford.com order page show $0 difference from MSRP? (i.e. NO ADM)

Yes it does say $0 difference from MSRP on the order page. I hope that plus the order sheet from the dealer are enough in-lieu of having something signed.

Ok, thank you all. Update here. I had 2 hours of stressful calls to Ford Corporate, and then with the dealer. I have managed to get them to back down from the markup, and agree to just MSRP. They tried to take the angle of 'most dealers are doing markups' and I took the angle of bait and switch, they stated no markup when I ordered, and didn't give me a warning one was coming.

I talked about the Ford VP of sales letter/warning to dealers switching pricing (someone shared on the FB group), a complaint to Ford, and pursuing legal action. They came back in 15 mins with removal of markup.

I also got them to put the confirmed pricing in an email chain so it is documented digitally.

Ugh a stressful few hours. Thank you for the input here as well as any of you on my FB post. Hopefully no more surprises in the last few weeks before delivery.

A clue for me was the fordpass app -- I had not been able to "activate" -- kept giving me an error, then yesterday afternoon when I tried it actually went to "pending activation" -- so if anyone else is having an error and then it suddenly works, that may indicate that your status is about to change to "built."

My app moved to pending activation weeks ago but I am not marked as built yet. I am on a chip hold now.

My Built day was 8/30 but chat says the truck still hasn’t shipped. I asked about holds but there has never been any for me. Somehow my eta to California is still 9/22-28 but I doubt that will be the case.

I'm pretty much same dates and location to CA as you. Still awaiting shipment. Ford Canada chat said they actually had my ETA listed as a specific date 9/20

I phoned my dealer and they gave me the 4 digits numerical order # and vin #.
Plug into the link you sent ang ford gave me the date.

I went to shipped last night! No date populated though. Prior to that, (yesterday I think) My estimated date pushed from 9/10 to 9/17 out to 9/26 to 10/2. Not sure what to make of that… if it really has shipped it should not take that long to get from Flat Rock to Wisconsin, even with having to go thru Chicago

Nice! I did mine this morning and expected to get bumped since I don't have my truck yet. But to my surprise the consultant, who is in the UK (btw) knew that I was still waiting and wanted me to participate anyways.
