On previous window stickers it mentions heated mirrors in the upper left of the sticker. So far all the 2023s we have seen show no mention of heated mirrors. Could be a change in the sticker only, but kind of suspect especially with the rumors that had been circulating a couple weeks ago.

It doesn't show the credit though, the heated steering wheel removal does.

The memo they released said there would be a $45 credit for the removal of the heated mirrors.

So with a blend date of 10/19 if i understand it correct im the 8593rd lightning built. Looks like mine should be one of the first 23's built. Just hoping it ships quick lol.

If the number you list is that which is to the right of the blend day, then no, these numbers (I call it sequence 2) scrolls from 8000 to 8999 then wraps around as additional trucks are lined up for production. You're possibly #10 of 981

I see the the one you shared is 24th out of 981 right? if so your tenth was a good guess, mine says 13/981.

I am looking the official forum tracker, monitoring 2023 records sharing a vin during the month of October to get a feel for production volumes during MY-2023

The memo they released said there would be a $45 credit for the removal of the heated mirrors.

“Dealer says” the heated mirrors are moved as well. Credit or not looks like both mirrors and steering wheel heat are removed.

I will take the heated seats in my pro over losing the heated mirrors.

Just spoke to Ford. They said due to the global chip shortage the only thing effecting the Lightnings are the multi contour seats with full recline, the scales and smart hitch. Nothing about the heated steering wheel removal. He did note that for the gasoline F150, the heated steering wheel removal was present. I would think that since the Lightning is an EV, they would pull supply from the gasoline F150 being that heating a cabin with the steering wheel would not effect range nearly as much as running full cabin heat. Maybe this is a glitch with window stickers crossing over to each other. If not, pretty wild the lack of communication between Ford, its customer service reps, and dealerships down to the customers.

I really doubt it is a window sticker goof up. It would be nice if it is but very unlikely

I agree, the dealers were sent the memo that explains exactly what the window stickers are reflecting. With that, I would be happily surprised if the window sticker is incorrect.

No love yet from Ford. Still just says scheduled for this week. Last week when I thought the date had dropped off, was just because I was on my iPhone and had to shrink font down for the date to show. Sigh…
