My sticker just posted. Same as others, Steering Wheel - Heat Removal - $140.

Any idea what retro fitting a steering wheel would entail? Is everything there just need the correct steering wheel and switch? Or is it more effort than it's worth? I'm really bummed about the heated mirrors more though... Truck will sit outside so snow and ice will be a real problem

I’m going to be optimistic and say that if there isn’t a $45 credit on your window sticker, then the heated mirrors have not been deleted.

I'm scheduled for 10/31, I'm hoping the heated mirrors stay...not because I need them, they are just worth more than $45 that Ford is crediting us.

I also doubt that the feature can be added in the future, but if it's anything like my MME the heated steering wheel is controlled from the 15" screen, so there are no buttons to delete.

I mean, anything can be done, but for how much work.

If there isn't a button that makes it easier, but it depends on whether the wiring harness to the steering wheel is different too. Also, it would require some kind of scantool parameter change that hopefully the software UI would recognize and make available.

I didn't get a $45 credit for heated mirrors. I'll be kind of pissed if they just removed that feature without any credit. The fact that it's not on the sticker doesn't give me much hope. They are usually pretty excited about listing every little feature.

I also see the dealer didn’t put in the colour change for my truck, I originally ordered Atlas Blue and since It was changed to a 23 they ordered it in Avalanche since they somehow thought that was the closest colour to Atlas blue. I said absolutely not and to change it to carbonized gray, but here we are with an Avalanche truck coming in.

The base XLT has heated mirrors, but they are manual folding versus power.

On previous window stickers it mentions heated mirrors in the upper left of the sticker. So far all the 2023s we have seen show no mention of heated mirrors. Could be a change in the sticker only, but kind of suspect especially with the rumors that had been circulating a couple weeks ago.
