Hey guys I been looking for a lightening to pop up since I never got a reservation. Today I found a 22 platinum. And it’s not a mannequin or demo it’s dealer stock! It’s 5k over. Is that fair for a dealer stock platinum? Also buying one now would get me in the tax credit window as well

@shutterbug has this wrong. By buying before the end of the year you are eligible for the full $7500 tax credit. $80k limit will start January 1.

No, it's a terrible deal. Stay far far away.

Awesome thanks so much for the replies guys! That’s what I had figured that it starts January 1st for the new 80 price cap. So sounds like if I take delivery next week I’ll be good

Guys I got a problem to trx is being delivered next month. I don’t know what to do. If I buy both and sell the one I don’t like I feel like I’ll be in a pickle. If I sell the lightning and I will lose the tax credit so it might be a wash there

IMO at least try to haggle with them.

$10k over was the opening ask by the dealer on my Lariat ER, and I ended up at sticker.

Ask 'em if they have somebody else lined up yet. Be willing to close the deal same day.
