I assume you say that because the description says

But isn't only the Lightning ditching AM? The ICE still has it, doesn't it?

Not 100% on ICE but I have heard the AM radio causes some issue with the Lightning with feedback in the background IDK. I never listen to AM radio so no issues for me.

I had tried the antenna delete, but again Ford's base has an odd diameter and the delete I found looked weird because it wasn't anywhere near flush.

I put it on day 1 of owning the truck and was able to get several of the FM stations I knew but I'm usually using Amazon Music or Spotify via CarPlay so not sure how much degradation there might have been, if any.

Not sure at all about AM, didn't try that.

Hi all,

I'm wondering if anyone here has found a stubby antenna which has a base width that matches our Lightning's?

I've tried a couple different ones and they all have a weird gap at the bottom due to how the Lightning's antenna stack is.

I have The Stubby and it works great! No issues on FM channels.

I went with this one, I also tried the Carbon Fiber tipped one (I liked it, just ended up liking this one better).

I also figured out why this one is flush fit. Has a nice offset built in. Pictures below:
