Hi all. Newbie here, first post. I’m a veteran over at Bronco6G. I reserved a lightning May 2021, and got an invite to order by Feb. 9th.
Obviously the XLT is sold out, so it’s pushing me to a Lariat.

On the build and price it’s saying if I order now the estimated delivery is this spring (spring 2023)… is this accurate??

Coming from Bronco I was used to a 2 year wait ha.

It's an estimated delivery. My MY23 Pro was supposed to be Fall of 2023. It was delivered in December 2022. Other MY23 Pro orders have yet to be scheduled though.

The Lariat's and Platinum's have tended to be more on schedule I would say. Ford has been scheduling Pro's and XLT's as they have capacity.

Wow ok so if I order I’ll probably actually get it this year.

That’s a night and day difference from Bronco.
Now the question is do I have 90k to drop on an EV truck when I get get an XLT with the 2.6 for almost half that. Ha

Seems like there are a number of lightly used vehicles hitting the market. Maybe consider one of those and save a bucket of money.

Talking about lightly used Lightnings?
Yes. Look in the marketplace on this forum. There is even an XLT for sale in your state. I would also keep in touch with your local dealers since some people will decline delivery

Damn. Really?
My understanding is that tax credit caps at 80k MSPRP. Not sure if this is before or after options. Sucks, combined with the Ford price increase since my reservation, I had to drop the ER battery :to stay below.

The Total Vehicle & Options/Other value listed just above the delivery fee

Per this example from a Lariat 511A

I also reserved on 5/20, I got my invite on Dec 15th. I ordered immediately. On 1/10/23 I got a scheduled production build week of 2/5. On 1/17 I got my window sticker confirming build day of 2/5. dealer estimates and others on this forum have confirmed that picking up from the dealer is usually 3-4 weeks so I'm expecting to get it the first week or two in March. Hope that helps.
