Decided to take a second look and pulled the whole cover off. My 22 Pro does have the wire there, it was just tucked up there nicely. $40 auto wipers, here we come!

I ordered mine. I'll get it tomorrow from the dealer will try the install Wednesday.

Are we doing the four line change or the three in Forscan i saw some debate? Also how many clips holding the cover on the mirror?

installed. Seems to be working I will update after a rainy day. I’ve attached more pics. Of location, The tool I used, where clips are located on the back of the cover and the option to enable on the infotainment. I changed all four lines in Forscan.

Do you need to leave the wiper stalk in one of the 'active' positions? After the sensor doesn't detect rain for a while, do the wipers get parked (where they go lower than the 'at the ready' position with typical intermittent wiper settings)?

My stalk was on the first setting the single rain drop. After a little time of no use they drop down lower.

Is the above correct, or should it be 724-02-01 xxxx-xxC4- —?

I installed the part today. On my MY23 Pro the cable was plugged into the area circled in the attached photo. I thought I was going to snap the plastic getting the cover off, scary.

its with all four changes i mention in my earlier post. so if one of those is BCM, then yes.
Add rain sensor:

i cannot remember if it got substituted after my order for a newer part.

as i recall you just pull the cover down and it eventually unclips.

Those selections are in the AS BUILT sections BCM (BdyCM), SCCM, APIM, and IPC for anyone wondering.

Could you verify that your 724-02-01 line is correct? I pulled up the spreadsheet and that isn't an option. One option is xxxx-x*xx and the other is xxxx-xx**. Thank you!
