Might want to adjust title to reflect correct version number :)

I think I need to change my update time or something, I've stuck at "Not completed" for a few weeks now.
The title I had for this post was “hot on the heels of 4.2.3- somehow the title was changed (and the picture added) when this topic was moved to a different forum. Odd-

Ah, that would explain a lot. With so many updates getting pushed out, perhaps we need a single thread to track what the most recent is? Or is it better to make a new thread for each update? Doesn't effect me I suppose since my truck is stuck in limbo at the moment. I'll just count my blessings that it hasn't given me a power failure!

When I see folks post first events about OTA's in the wrong node I move them to here, and harmonize the title names to match all preceding threads.

Also when you're bringing a NEW release conversation into the context of another thread that gets a bit confusing, if you're the first to see a new OTA release, if a thread exists, discuss it in that thread, or create a new thread under this node.

I’m referring to PAAK. I don’t think I have issue with fob. Though, the paak issue is like 5% chance the lock button doesnt work.

1FT6W1EV5NWG14422 if you wanna take a look, the issue isn’t that dramatic and could easily be a phone issue.
Understood.

Here's what you've got available today:

I agree with one running thread with an announcement on the main page that a new update is out, no replies allowed. Same with Ford Pass updates.

I just got 4.2.2.2 today despite the fact that I have setup only Tuesday and Wednesday as update days.

4.2.4 released as well. Maybe my door lock will work more often now instead of pressing the numpad or opening up my app.

Hoping you can point me in the right direction. I have only had my truck for a couple of days and have been unable to find software version it is on.

When I go to Software Updates in FordPass this all I get:

Ford F-150 Lightning Ford Power-Up 4.2.4 Modem Connection Issues 1682255474862

Thanks.

Weird short answer is, "You can't." Longer answer is the only place I know of–and it is not consistent–is after you receive an update you can see it in the FordPass app as in the screenshot in the post you quoted.

😟 Well isn’t that special?

It’s hard to find any software now days that doesn’t have an ‘about’ feature that displays the version info.

Thanks for the info.!

Updated to 4.2.2.2 today

Reason I’m mentioning this is, I didn’t have the new UI until 4.2.2.2 today, and the work done on cataloguing with the google sheet and tonesto don’t show the 4.x.x.x as applying to the Lightning.

Well that's because the '23 models have been eluding capture....meaning he's got the three digit updates locked down on what they do for '21/'22 models, but the four digit OTAs that you mentioned seem to only apply to '23 Mach-Es and Lightnings.

You may want to send him a DM to update his data based on what you got.

I received my 4.2.4 update yesterday 4/27. It alerted me in the Fordpass App that I received the update but didn't show which update I'd received. This happened one other time & it showed up a day or so later.
I was able to go to Ford's webiste & in the Dashboard it did show my current version was 4.2.4 update. I had never noticed that this was available in the pass.

Forgive the dumb question, but how does an OTA update fix my modem if it’s not working?

I called Ford about this and one rep said I would receive an OTA update and the other said my truck hasn’t successfully processed an update since mid-Feb. He then rattled off four dates in which the update failed including an attempt only a few hours earlier.

I say this after I just got my truck back after it spent over two months at the dealer and one of the issues was exactly this. They replaced the TCU and the problem still isn’t solved. Nor was anything updated manually.
