2022 F150 Lightning Lariat ER for $56k seems to good to be true. What's the catch?

It's cheap because its salvage title. It'll keep affecting the resale. If it's due to something acceptable to you (IE: not major accident damage), it can be a deal. For that price I'd buy it. Non-salvage carmax offers are 67k, and most used are north of that.
Carmax offers are not that high right now. 55k max for ER lariats (I was there last week).

I regularly make a 198 mile round trip at ~80mph in mine on a relatively hilly route (I-90, I-84, I-91). I generally get back with ~15-18% battery. I got home with single digits once when it was 15 degrees out.

You have to precondition if you go in the winter. And if there's heavy rain or snow you won't quite make it.

I wouldn't touch this truck at that price without a rock solid guarantee that the battery warranty is still in effect. If what the original owner is saying is true about its range, there's something wrong with it.

It has a lift, and oversized off-road tires. This is why the range is being cut by 30% when driving over 75 mph.
Put it back to stock and I'm assuming it will be back to what everyone else sees.

What kind of tires do you have? That truck doesn't have OEM Lariat ER wheels on it, the OEM tires were A/T on the sticker. But, I can't tell if those are the OEMs, I don't think so. They look oversized and truck looks lifted.

Follow the CarFax item by item. It looks like it was going between Kansas and California during the winter (wind). Then, somebody put 10,000 miles on it in three months between January and April this year. So, it's been on the move not some shop queen..

I still have the OEM "A/T" tires and Lariat wheels.

If it's been lifted/levelled in my opinion I would consider that affirmative for "something is wrong with it"! 30% off the sticker seems like a good starting point for post-modification valuation.

Are we sure this is actually an ER? HP says 426 hp and ERs more like 585 hp. If so range 230 (EPA) not 320 (EPA).

Just wanted to mention to all of you that @cybertruck was the previous owner and has posted on here about the truck, so all of the speculative posts might as well be "You should read the comments"...

Regarding the listing saying 426HP, I see that many ford dealers incorrectly list this on extended range models including my local for dealer. Might be an error on Ford corporate's end.

Wow! We're you towing something? This is a great vehicle for my needs but it is with a fair amount of trepidation I plan my trip to Maine with two other bodies & a Saint Bernard in a few weeks. Taking the "Western Route" thru Allentown and up to Tappan Zee vs the 95 / Turnpike Route due to the exce$$ive tolls / bridge crossing and I've planned each of my charges at about 200 highway miles apart.
I've been trying to plan my trip to Maine this August and realized I'll give it another year since we don't have any way to charge my truck once we get there, and instead I'll rent an SUV for myself, my GF and our 7mo Golden.

Let me know how the trip goes, and maybe it'll fix my confidence!
