With respect there are numerous posts here that warned you this was going to happen.

Stay tuned. When the Cybertruck is priced there will be another price reduction.

Nope, because 1) it's not a real truck -- it's unibody BS, 2) it's going to be priced above the F150.

Sell your truck and go order a new one at the lower price.

Ford will not refund cash. They are bleeding cash on their EV segment. Look at the earnings announcement. However they should, as a goodwill offering to loyal Ford EV early adopters who paid the 2023 price increases, provide Ford Pass points or a credit voucher for a future Ford vehicle purchase.

Price goes down:

Price goes up:

Do you think Ford should send a bill to everyone who purchased 3 weeks before a price adjustment up? If not, I don’t think Ford should send you a check when it goes down.
Ford will lose alot of customers over this.

I think you made a deal stick to it.
I don’t think it’s quite that simple, in the case of a double-digit reduction in MSRP, by a manufacturer. It’s not like a rebate (which is a transient incentive) or a low finance rate.
There are finance contracts that were given by a lender based upon debt:equity ratios which are now upended, to say nothing of the future impact of the price cuts on lease residual values.
Ford definitely “harmed” its recent purchasers by choosing to drastically lower MSRP, as opposed to rebating or incentive financing.
I think we all realize this was motivated by the arbitrary $80k MSRP limitation of the EV Tax Credits. While the need for a drastic price reduction is understandable, the lack of consideration given to earlier 2023 purchasers reflects a cavalier attitude and dismissal of the critical role of early-adopter purchasers.
A token effort (big Fordpass Rewards points drop, free Ford accessories credit, free Blue Oval charging credits, etc. etc.) to compensate pre-reduction buyers would have gone a long way toward soothing the inevitable hard feelings, among a group that Ford shouldn’t want to alienate.

I think that all of us that paid the extra 10K before the price reduction should talk about what as a group we should do?
I took delivery of mine the first week of June and what I paid after the incentive from ford is what the price is now for anyone looking to purchase one

Ford did send out tons of checks to people who ordered and then the price went up. Ask me know I know. I got my refund.
What year model do you have? I’d like ford to send me a check. I have a 2023 XLT with options

No, they won't. There aren't a lot of customers that bought in close proximity to the price drop. They might lose you, but your expectation is silly.

I bought a 2022 demo in mid-May 2023 with 450 miles on it. New. Thought I got a great deal, now with the price drop not so much, but I have no feature deletes...

They won’t. The price reductions will actually get them a lot of new buyers.

I’ve had my F150 Lightning Lariat ER for three months. I’ve driven it 10k miles. I am not bothered by the reduction at all. I’ve been loving my truck and it makes me happy that the new pricing opens the door for others to get the same experience. The new price points actually bring pricing parity with identically spec’d and optioned gas powered F150s. It makes the Lightning a no-brainer for a lot of buyers now. That benefits all of us when it comes to software updates and ongoing support.

I can appreciate that it doesn’t feel great to buy anything before a price reduction, but that’s life. Sometimes, you come out ahead of that curve, eg everyone who bought a car or truck below MSRP before the pandemic. Sometimes, you come out on the other side.

Manufacturers have made model year price adjustments ALL THE TIME in the form of incentives, rebates, sales, etc. Granted, rarely did the MSRP changed within a model year. But a combination of factors lead to the way pricing adjustments are currently being handled:
  1. Fluctuations in materials and supplier pricing
  2. Ford is still figuring out EVs
  3. 3 major competitors about to arrive and announce pricing
  4. Ford's EVs are still largely ordered rather than inventoried... the continued diminishing of the dealership model
  5. Federal rebates are based on MSRP, so stable, predictable (ha ha ha) pricing matters when ordering
  6. Something something else
In times past, consumers wouldn't bat an eye having purchased one month, only to find out a new rebate is available the next month. We might individually get angry and stew on it. But the transaction is the transaction. It sucked then.

Nevertheless, changes to the MSRP "feels" different. AND IT IS. Because used car prices are directly influenced by them. KBB (and market) prices don't take into account incentives, rebates, and sales.

Further, I think a difference is that incentives, rebates, and sales also felt more regional or local under the dealership model. It felt like the dealership was the one facilitating them, even though they come from Ford Motor. They felt more ephemeral and transient. Because they were.

But with MSRP changes, the dealership isn't in the equation. It is Ford Motor and no one else.

All that said, I purchased 3 days before the price changes. Hours after the price change, I receive a call from the dealership that there is an issue with the Ford Credit paperwork and I need to return to re-sign. Enter stage right an opportunity to negotiate. They were reluctant, and it required the GM to intervene, but with the threat of not re-signing, they offered to lower the purchase price by half of the price change for my model.

They claimed the issue with Ford Credit would have had them on the hook to pay for interest for the the loan. Whether that is true, I don't care. Clearly, the position I found myself in was an absolute exception to others experiences.

I have a 2023 Pro . I was in wave 2 of reservations and held out and got my pro for the original price of 40K. I had to pay more and get the refunds from Ford to get the correct price. My dealer upped my trade value to cover the added cost of taxes.

I bought my Pro Aug 2022 and thought I got a great deal. With the price drops, still got a great deal as the price is up overall.

I bought my Lariat March 2023 and I thought I got a great deal..now same as you not so much.
But same no deletes.
