My first 100% (well 99%) charge and 320 mile range (estimate).

We bought our ‘22 Lariat ER in Chicago suburbs In June. With strictly suburban driving and resisting the temptation to light the pavement on fire, the range estimate climbed from 320 to 354, once went as high as 364. Back in rural Tennessee now and the estimate has returned to normal after the highway trip here (60 mph following our RV). After a month here we are usually around 330 or so, with a weekly trip (110 mi RT) to Knoxville on I-40. Very happy.

You guys that don't see a large increase in your bill must not drive very much.
My 90 miles a day (MME or LT) kicks our monthly utility bill up $30-$50. Since our utility uses averaging over years,
The GOM [in the Lightning] always defaults to EPA promised value, has nothing to do with our individual driving styles and conditions.

I use my TRIP-2 for long term evaluation of my performance, New England winter (mild in 22/23) was 1.8 to 1.9, YMMV. {note, my long term value is skewed by occasional trailering, it's more than a grocery getter}

Our MME takes about 5-8 days of steady driving for the range estimate to project an estimate consistent with my driving (4.1 mi/KW) which it does. My OBD2 monitor has my battery health at 94% and I typically have 95% to driving energy. Thus my highest predicted range is 278 but factoring battery health and % to driving and it’s dead on at 248 which is 38 miles above the 210 range as advertised. OTA updates have definitely improved range estimates for the MME. Not sure what you all have experienced with LT OTAs. LTs cruising around town sub 45 mph will get great efficiency. Those that commute/travel at highway & freeway speeds? Not so much. I could put load range E tires on the LT, pump them to 70 psi… & get marginal gains TO AN ALREADY AMAZINGLY EFFICIENT TRUCK.

Averaging over years? So you're not paying the full rate on what your bill should have went up for the electricity you used last month?

Yes, at the end of every year they average your use and that becomes the monthly rate. We still see the actual KWh use on the garage meter. We never pay more than we actually use overall but it does even out the payment. Our house and garage are metered separately which is a good thing for EV charging.

Not really most of us have a solar system our homes.
Mine is over four years old but it keeps my bills at about 25 dollars a month. I drive almost every day and it’s great. The solar covers electric and gas.
