Can anybody change the current on their FCSP in the FordPass app? I think the last update broke the feature.

No matter how many times I change the setting, I'm rocking along at 80 amps. I know it's connected to my network because I can log into it through the setup app, and it's showing my insights data and that I'm currently charging.
I know mine was working a couple months when doing a test for someone else, but I will test again Wednesday afternoon.

I know the latest 4.30.2 version has been slow loading, and the Charge Station applet does not always pull up the initial screen, I need to tap the reload icon🍥 in the lower right corner to get it completed.

I lowered my setting from 80 to 40 for tomorrow's testing, when I exit and return to the app, it's still showing the 40 amp setting.

YOU CAN ONLY ADJUST THE AMPS WHEN IT'S NOT IN USE.

My settings have been rock solid since January.

The evse has worked every time.

Charge session logging was fixed by a power cycle 3 times, hasn't lost logs in 2 months.

My tests confirm your observations, I plugged in the truck this morning to get a head start on testing, I was only at 86% my max is set for 90%.

When I plugged in she ramped right up the 18KW (80 amp) setting rate, though the FCSP was still dialed for 40 amp in the Fordpass Connected charge station settings.

Then I tried dialing it down further to 30 amps while actively charging, that worked!
Note emporia adds the two 120v legs for the sum of 57.2 amps, actual 28.6 for my 30 a request.

Then I tried bumping it up to 60A, but the FCSP jumped to 80A again

I shut it down briefly with a STOP request, that worked, as you see in the chart below, then resumed my schedule but lowered it to 32 amps, with no impact, it stayed full throttle at 80A

I sent the FordPass app team feedback via the Android Play Store, hopefully they read and fix it sooner than later.

Connected Charge Station interaction malfunction, unable to get screen to load reliably, when loaded the amperage adjustment is inconsistent, when set for a lower rating, the FCSP continues to operate at maximum rate of 80 amps , or what ever the hardware pot setting is at, mine is 80.

The application is slow to load various other screens, charge logs, departure settings, charging details screen, etc.

Version 4.30.2 needs major fixes.

I charged at work yesterday so didn't try last night. I've had it at 60A since mid summer, will be interesting to see if it's still at that or the full 80A. I wonder if the glitch only occurs after you change the rate setting...?

My experience to date with my FCSP and charging limit has been without error. I have the limit set to 80% and it stops there every time. Haven't lost FCSP connectivity either. Have you ruled out network/signal issues?

(not defending points about Ford software. While my FCSP has been fine and has updated, I have yet to receive any updates on my truck)
I've had the FCSP connected since July (on a 60 amp breaker) and I haven't had any issues either. I don't know why these problems are so random with folks. I also haven't gotten a single OTA update but I keep reading that plenty of people are getting them. Ford really needs to get their shit together.

Totally agree with you on how terrible the FordPass app is. I've said something similar before, but I'll say it again (maybe they'll listen eventually) - Ford's truck hardware A+, Ford's Software F-

As a workaround until they fix their crap, you could power off the breaker and open the cover on the charge station and turn the settings dial to a lower number. I think 7 means 80amps, 6 is 64 amps (what I have mine set to), don't remember what the other numbers equate to. Don't know why they have wacky numbering - Ford being Ford I guess.

Thank you for doing all that. I've been busy lately and appreciate the time you put into it.

My wife will be driving it the next couple of days. With her commute, we won't have to charge it for a week. I'll deal with it then.

Couldn't leave it alone. I had to stay up late anyway to make sure it charged. I feel Ford owes me babysitting money.

Anywhoo, after couple of reboots, clearing the cache in the app, and numerous attempts to change the charge rate, I got it down to 40 amps. Here is a graph of the charge rate changing, while charging, to show those who think it can't be done that it can be.

I got around to messing with this last night. Firstly, I had a lot of trouble even getting the settings screen for the FCSP to even show up. I kept having to back out and go back to it (which took 2-3 min each time) before I could even see the station to check the rate. My setting had been reset to 80A, I don't remember doing that. When I started charging it was at the full 80A as well. I tried changing to 60, 50, and 40 amps, several tries for each, none took. I gave up and went to bed.

Yeah, it's seriously broken right now. I never had trouble through mid summer.

Please report the malfunction through the IOS APP Store or Android PLAY Store, usually the developers react more quickly, if this issue can be "fixed" before the next release that would great.

By report, you mean leave feedback via the rating system? I haven't paid much attention to see if there's another option to contact the devs.

Both, at least in google play store, there is the rating review and then there is a contact email address, do both.

Which app is the "Charge Station Pro > Main" screen from? Thanks!
