What’s the deal with this weird key?

Salesman made no mention of this (got two fobs) but found it in the glove box.

You have 3 keys. Two of them are inside the fobs, that's the 3rd one.

That key works in the following places:

1) Door.
2) Center console.
3) Glove box.
4) Rear underseat storage if you have it (locks seat).
5) Lock on rear bumper for access to spare tire winch.

I have no idea where others keep it. I put it in the house, since I always have a fob with me. But, if you PaaK, you should put it somewhere in the truck, in case you need to lower the spare (if you have a spare tire lock, many don't).

I keep it in my console safe. That's one of the reasons I bought it. I also keep the wheel lock key there, as well as a few other items...
