@TaxmanHog (big fan) You might want to add software update to the survey.

I had the experience of driving where the truck went into turtle mode with the dreaded
High voltage battery module replacement andor battery energy control module becm software update.

Turned the truck off/ on and was able to drive to the dealership. The service department updated the software and seems to have fixed it. Total of three days in the shop. Ford motor co contacted me and was very helpful. Hopefully that is then end of this problem.

Does @Avocadodude get to vote twice?
I voted once but put both repairs in. Really hope I don't have to go for a third round 😂.

I don't recommend driving to shop on reduced power if there are hills. 25% power gets up to 50 mph flat no problem. Steep hill at stop light makes you want Fred Flintstone legs.

Mine was towed 1,200 miles back to our house. Transport guy had trouble getting it on the trailer at 20% power. From the time Ford first notified me of the problem it took close to two months to get the parts lined up. My dealer was great and had it fixed in two days.

Perhaps you should add one more checkbox, "No battery module replacement needed yet" or something similar.

The purpose of the survey is to measure the duration of service for those NEEDING a module replacement, negatives need not participate.

Got it. Just thought it would be interesting to see the percentage of people that are experiencing an issue vs not, at least from a members perspective.
I understand, many folks aren't watching this thread so the negatives will still be under represented as seen in previous surveys they tended to lag the entire population of the forum (who have the truck in hand).

BTW, I'm the ghost writer for this survey on behalf of another member who wanted to remain anonymous.

On a related front, my Service Manager said that after they install the software, they had one vehicle report bad modules 40 miles later.

I'm dropping my truck off tomorrow morning for the two recalls and two CSP's, fingers crossed it all turns out well with no issues.

I took mine in last week, got the wiper motor replaced and the dash mat, but the light bar is on back order and the ev tech wasn’t available to do the test. Still waiting for parts before the next dealer visit.

I’m scheduled for early next week for this software update at dealership. Will see, fingers crossed. Still on power up version 6.3.0 not that that matters. Really hoping my truck does an OTA update itself before then to avoid dealership visit, ugh. The dealership visits experience to me are worse than going to the dentist.
