There are new reports in the Mach E thread's and from knowledgeable members that during 6.13 SW update the DC/DC charging contacts closed and stayed closed during the update delivering charge to the 12v battery. We might just finally have a break through.
Good news. But gotta get past 6.8 first!

To make sure the number is current, open FordPass and do a refresh. That will send the current data to the mothership. Otherwise you might be seeing an old number.
Yes, I was aware of that, but thanks for checking. Charger has AMB selected, and indicates fully charged. Yet,

Did you reset your BMS after charging the battery?
No, I have not. The feeling I got in reading some of the threads was only do that for a new battery. I'm nearing my truck's 1st birth day, 12/22 blend.

My understanding is, if the truck didn't charge the battery, it doesn't really know the state of charge. Resetting the BMS after charging it tells the truck its fully charged. As long as the battery isn't defective, you're not hurting anything by doing it.

I think if the charger is connected properly (charge current flows through the current sensor) it should be OK. If the charger is connected directly to the battery terminals, you’re right, the BMS is clueless about the charge.

I did the BMS reset procedure, SOC was 76%. 6.5 update still failed. LVB now shows 64%, left the truck running to bring it back up.

Update: Went to bed and LVB was 88%. 6.5.0 still fails to install. This morning LVB is 91%.

not sure what to conclude.
