Per this just released article, "Tesla Cybertruck Manages Just 254 Miles Of Range In Independent Highway Range Test. Test indicated 124 kWh of juice in the truck petered out after just 254 miles of driving. That’s just a little over 2 miles per kWh, which puts the Cybertruck’s efficiency numbers just a bit higher than the Hummer EV’s estimated 1.48 miles per kWh, and just shy of the F150 Lightning’s 2.29 miles per kWh."

Don't think I've ever gotten 2.3 at 70mph without going downhill or a tailwind. I have gotten 2.1 though.

Again, I am surprised at this result. I wonder if Tesla has a large buffer on the 124 kw battery currently. This test was in Texas, I don't know if temperature had any impact. The real distance at or less than 250 miles.

Perhaps less than 10% improvement over my $40k Lightning SR ??

Pretty much identical efficiency to the Lightning in the 70mph range test then. Moloughney got 270 miles out of the Lariat ER, Out of Spec got 260 (to completely dead) with a Platinum.

I would have thought they would have some efficiency improvement in the CT design that would get it closer to 2.5mpk but you can't beat physics.

It’s on 35” ATs, not 32” AS.
For the Lightning, AT vs AS made about a 15 mile difference. Moloughney went 256 miles on the KO2 ATs.

A little more efficient than the ER lightning while being a little bit smaller. Seems about right. Air doesn’t like being moved.
