Any action on FDRS or are we still stuck on the 2023 updates?

Looking at various Power Update threads, it seems many late season MY23's and a handful of MY22's are in the process of catching up to the rest of us, everyone who is at 6.8.0 is in a holding pattern, waiting for defective 6.13.0 to be mitigated and then revised 6.13.0 to roll out, likely in March.

The catch up process is slooooooow. Still no 6.X for me. But it is nice to see what updates are once again getting pushed. Maybe soon.

I have a late MY23 Lariat ER and I just got 4.2.1 and 4.2.2 about two days apart from each other. Fingers crossed that this is just the beginning!

My last update was PU0306-BCF-DET, which was done on 7/15/2023.
That's 216 days since my last update. (7 months)

Thinking of a possible hung up networking issue, have you tried disconnecting the 12v LVB?

I got 4.2.1.1 on 2/8/24 and now 4.2.1.2 on 2/15/24.
Exactly the same for me. 4.2.1.1 on 2/8 and 4.2.1.2 on 2/15. Curious to see if another comes on 2/22...

I haven't tried that yet. Do I just disconnect for a couple minutes and the reconnect? Or are there any additional steps that I would need to do?

Just remove the negative terminal for 5 minutes, then reattach.

You will need to manually push the frunk closed firmly locked.

Then use the inside frunk open button to exercise it open/closed, then all should be good.

MY23 Lariat ER.

I've been on 4.2.2.2 / PU0306-BCF-DET since July or August. Called Ford and they said I have no pending updates. Went in for Warranty work and had them check. Dealer said the same.

I assume they are just holding us here for now...

I just received my first and only update in my 2023 SR PRO on Feb 15th. I received my Lighting order just about 2 months ago.
It just updated to 4.2.3.1
It states I can now connect to WiFi through the sync screen (pretty sure I could do that before the update)

Also, for the Lariat and Platinum models, you can let Ford know what you really think via a recoded voice feedback.
No other info included in the update. I’m out of town and don’t have access to the vehicle to see if any there are any other changes. The only other update I’m looking forward to is having a battery % next to the battery meter.

I have a 23 Lariat ER, Blend Date 8/14. I received an Update attempt (2/10) for 4.2.1.1 - but my Truck rejected is as there was a Ford server/update payload issue. I was told to wait two weeks for a resend. I love this Truck, but the lack of updates is now really testing my patience with Ford Corporate. Ford Corporate tells me my Dealer is best to troubleshoot - but the Dealers and my Dealer is fine - but not going to be EV certified, say talk to Corporate. The Ford OTA so-called team on the phone cannot talk to engineers at Ford, I wonder if Ford ICE updates are this hard.

Ford owners should be able to request a failed-pushed update like you can on an apple iPhone.

10/12/23 blend, built about two weeks later, and delivered 12/11 got 4.2.3.1 on 2/14 so they’re rolling slowly but surely.
