1. No not yet, though when you look under chargers on the Ford Pass app EA and Tesla are listed.
See my previous post. Even without the update, tesla chargers will still show on the map. But you do not need the update to charge. I suggest you try another known good DCFC station. Look up on plugshare any 10 rated stations and see if you can initiate a charge there.

I tried my A2Z charger today at a Tesla location and it came up with the same issue. I plugged it in. The lights turned blue and then about 30 seconds later it gave a a charge fault. The app said it was plugged in but not charging. Did you figure out what was going on? I have the plug and charge linked to my card and it works at other charging companies. I also have a Charge Station at home and it worked there too. I changed my app to eighty percent max charge. It was on eighty five.

The app said it was plugged in but not charging.
Tesla or FordPass? If you have the (updated) Tesla app, it should work once you tell the app you are driving a lightning (assuming it is a valid Supercharger).

Have you gotten the OTA Update? If not, none of the adapters will work.

The adapter works without the OTA. I used mine before and after. Prior to the OTA I had to activate via charge assist app. I had the fault. It was simply the NACS adapter not being inserted into the A2Z adapter far enough to lock. It is very stiff when new.

We have sent you private messages on the forum and by email in order to troubleshoot this issue with you.

As of now, you are our only two customers with this issue.
We had one last week and it was resolved 2 days later by itself at the same location.

We think the network is not yet fully opened and that they are still adding Superchargers to their systems and such. We are still investigating to better understand, but we know for a fact the adapters are not defective, they are all tested at least twice before being sent out to customers.

The issue was resolved after a call with Barbariansuperdad, it was resolved by using the Tesla app instead.
Seems like the Ford app isn't always working properly or it needs further setup.

A2Z customer service was able to help me. You have to use the Tesla app. Go to the part of the app that says Charge your other EV. Create an account and go that route. The Ford app sucks. It’s a pain it’s not all in one place but using the Tesla app worked. Now Ford just needs to update the maps to find these things. Thank you again to A2Z EV for your quick help with this.

I just had this same issue, but even using the the Tesla app didn’t work. Were there any other possible fixes? Tried to call the number but it was after office hours. I was hoping to have this figured out before heading back to Texas next weekend, won’t have access to another Tesla supercharger station until I hit the road on my road trip. I’m on 6.2.0 of that matters. Btw I repeated the steps at least 15 times, and the adapter seemed pretty well seated for after a few tries… unless it’s still not enough. I also tried three different units. Just picked up the truck from the dealer with 98 percent charge so I don’t know if that could have made an impact. I’d also note that I have successfully charged on a magic dock charger before.

So for steps you:

selected the charger in the Tesla app
connected the adapter to the Tesla plug
secured the lock on the bottom
connected the adap to the truck

If so, I think it’s the lock at the bottom that’s your issue. I just completed a 1,200 mi trip using Tesla chargers and the A2z adapter and I encountered multiple charger faults until I figured out the bottom lock.

I now make sure the lock is fully forward, then insert the Tesla plug, pull the lock back toward the Tesla plug. I then hold the adapter and Tesla plug and plug in to the truck while simultaneously ensuring the lock remains fully engaged.

If you hear the audible latching of the truck, you’re going to be successful. If not, you get a charger fault.

The first 3 stops I encountered multiple faults before getting it right. Something clicked and after that I’ve been able to get it on the first try.

The lack of a positive lock (I.e. push in and click) is the Achilles of the A2z. Other than that it’s a great adapter and has worked perfectly thus far.

Agreed. It's hard to know until you get used to it whether the lock is actually engaged.
