Save yourself the headaches and just use Tesla's app.I also just received mine. I immediately went to our local charging stations in the Jersey Shore Premium Outlets in Neptune. This place is great, with over 12 Tesla charging stations and 6 EV charging stations. Unfortunately, I ran into 2 problems ( aside from the quizzical stares I received from other Tesla owners):
1- Wow, are those Tesla charging cable short! I had to pull in diagonally for the cable to reach my charging port.
2- The truck wouldn't take the input from the Tesla charger. All my connections were correct, the charging indicator initially showed blue, but then turned white, indicating not charge taking place.
I'll have to work on a solution. It's probably a simple glitch with the Ford Pass app. This was just as test run anyway. But the charging stations are right off the Garden State Parkway, so if you're visiting the Jersey Shore this summer, it's like the old barber shops- 10 chairs, no wait. Right???
I've been saying this for the last year. Been a Tesla owner for about 10 year and seen tons of superchargers. The general supercharger population has short cables making it a pain to connect for anything other than a Tesla. Just don't see why they rushed this out without fixing something that will create huge problems. There's going to be a huge backlash when Lightnings start taking up multiple stalls to get close enough.Lightning owners are going to be pissed that they can't connect without taking up two stalls. There some that work but far more that don't. The FordPass app doesn't know which are longer. Been to 5 chargers, all V3) in the Portland OR area and none of them are long enough.1- Wow, are those Tesla charging cable short! I had to pull in diagonally for the cable to reach my charging port.

Yes....you are right. The FordPass App doesn't show the Tesla Chargers at the Premium Outlet as being available ....yet. I would assume that it's just a matter of time before they become operative for the Lightning. Still, it was fun plowing the Lariat diagonally into a Tesla slot, if only for 10 minutes. You can't just drive up to any superchargers.
You need to confirm that they are available to the Ford Charging Network either through FordPass, The Tesla App, or the ChargingApp in the truck.

So yours was USPS? Not FedEx?Went to get the mail and their was mine.. Surprise!!
What did you get for a reservation number in the confirmation email after placing your order? So, I wondered about this since I thought it was to be automatic shipping to all owners and I might be one of the first having my '22 for almost 2 years.
But, No. I just went to the Ford website and a pop up invited me to order one. Nothing was ever emailed me nor did my app ever notify me.
I urge you all to sign into Ford.Com and order one if you have not done so.
