Truck Things - Lightning Beach Edition

I recently took a trip from Austin to visit family in South Texas. On the way down, I made just one charging stop at the Corpus Christi Tesla Supercharger. Once I arrived, I was able to charge overnight at our family home before heading off to South Padre Island. The truck performed incredibly well on the sand and didn't get stuck. It definitely turned heads, and I might have been the only EV on the beach. It was a beautiful day, and I made sure to rinse the underside with a garden hose to remove any sand afterward. I also took a small excursion to Starbase (Boca Chica, TX) to check out the home of SpaceX, where you can see some of the
Starships in the background.

What is the piece on the frunk/hood?

I have the same Iconic Silver and think the light bar gets washed out against the metallic silver…your black piece really makes it stand out!

Did you air down to get out there?

I'm on sand about once a week, today included. The truck does better stock than my Expedition with oversize K/O's and a 2" lift did. No need to air down yet. Somehow they got the software right on the wheel slip thing. That's all I can attribute it to, because it's a heavy beast with street tires. I've been amazed.
