Problems with Preconditioning with new Ford Pass App

Okay, I precondition like with the old App version and with the new App, it does not tell me that it is preconditioning or that it is completed. Is this hidden somewhere with the new Ford Pass App?

It preconditions when you have a departure time set and it's plugged in but the old app had a slider "precondition while unplugged" that is now replaced with a slider "prepare cabin off plug". Same function.

I do set in the departure time but there is no evidence that it preconditions or that it has finished preconditioning

Hard to tell right now as the temps here probably don't require precon.

It might show when it's plugged in and actively doing it.

The battery conditioning system is active whenever the truck is plugged in but there is no indication.

I get no indication of it operating or of it being a completed precondition task. Nothing at all. The old App told me preconditioning was completed. The new one ...... nothing

I know it's doing something as my A/C is on when I hop in after work. But yeah, I've never gotten a notification that's done. As long as my cabin is cool, it doesn't bother me.

Make sure these settings are on, I haven't used pre-conditioning in while, so have not experienced the lack of functionality.

All on but I do not have "Backup Power system health". Any reason for that?

Test Scheduled:, note that I couldn't see the summary of saved scheme until I force stopped the app and restarted it. Remember that the cabin conditioning phase usually starts 5 minutes prior to ready time.

T minus five minutes process started with animation of the fan symbol.
Process should end T+10 minutes, but in the old version of the app I would get a notification that cabin was ready at T time. UPDATE at 14:30 I did not get a cabin ready notification.

I'm not sure why I have it, I don't have the HIS system either so that would not be relevant, but I do recall it was an available switch in the V4 version of the app.

I just retested it and set a time and date of departure and it stated "prep cabin for departure". The only change I entered was to cool the cabin. Before I just set that to off. Wonder if that had something to do with it

It still says Preparing Cabin for Departure and that is for 1435. I am not getting the blue fan illumination of blue either; however, just walked up to the truck and it is indeed preconditioning and making that preconditioning noise

Interesting, I didn't get a notification that mine started, though I was actively watching the app with the phone active, so the tickle might have been suppressed for that reason, that behaviour is an global android behaviour that I've noticed in other apps if I'm engaged with the app, and not on another app or the phone is sleeping.

Just upgraded to the 2024 Flash from my 2023 XLT.
I no longer see the option to "Prepare cabin off plug"...
Anyone else have this issue?
Schedule is setup, but offplug diesnt even show up as an option...
I only have the truck plugged in once or twice a week, so hopefully there is a fix for this...
