Pump chingadera on passenger side. Nothing on driver.

Pro ER owner here. I have it on the passenger side. Nothing on the driver side. Maybe its for Pro Power Onboard?

Do you have max tow? So far the trend would say no since you’re missing the drivers side.

I can confirm it’s likely not for Pro Power. All 3 trucks I have access to have Pro Power

Just an XLT SR with the one on the drivers side. Max Tow/Pro Power.

Don’t think so, none of the 3 trucks I posted have heat pumps but 1 one of them is different.

About a year ago Munro had an excellent video on thermal management of the Lightning. I believe this explains what we have found.

The entire video is informative to watch, but about the 7.56 minutes of this 17 minute video addresses standardization of parts:



Basically, they purchase many standard hoses, mounts, etc. that will work on all models the OEM makes. The Lightning has only one coolant bottle making the system more complex with a special mixing valve and that may also drive the decision to standardize the hose layout.

I have only one and it's on the left, I see where this is going!

If only on the ER models and models with max tow, I'd guess it is the extra cooling for the extra battery modules in the ER and the extra cooling for the Max tow package.

"F150 Lightning Max Tow AC Control Module" is what the OEM part comes back as.

Because Max Tow isolates the cabin cooling from the battery cooling by using a secondary compressor, I bet the plumbing needs to be on the other side to use the secondary compressor and not the original compressor.

SR/ER is irrelevant. We have reports form both. - Post #13 is updated. It’s a small amount of data but I think it’s very clear that it is for the Max Tow package.
