Picked up some Tremor take-offs. Took a 'Before' and 'After' Picture
Hello There - you mention Door Handle Caps - I got an XLT Carbonized Gray metallic, any look finding caps for both door or mirrors on the darker colors? I've seen white and silver but no luck. Any pointers on where to look would be awesome. Starting with some mods on my OEM XLT this summer so hopefully can share some mods soon.Mirror caps and door handle caps are my favoritest mod. Looks so good on dark colored XLT
Great pics! Thanks for sharing, Pete!

Thank you, adding this to my Lightning. The mirror you want is a Gentex 453, but it's not always labeled as that. The mirror was used by Hyundai, Kia, Mazda, Nissan, and other manufacturers. So I just did a search for 'homelink mirror'. What you are looking for is one that looks like this:
I just did a search on ebay and here's the cheapest option right now.
Here's what you do to order the adapter:
Go here: https://www.bobsmirrors.com/product.asp?itemid=1650
For the various drop-down options:
1. Male to Female
2. 6 wires (yesβ¦even though there are only 5 in your truckβs original mirror connector, the power wire gets split into two as there are two separate power connections on the Homelink mirror).
3. Select the desired length of the adapter harness, Bob recommends 12β, but I actually think that 6" or 8" would have been fine.
4. In the freeform text box type or copy & paste "Standard Gentex 10 pin Homelink female to 16 pin male F150 connectorβ
I think I paid $40 for the adapter shipped.
You can also save yourself the $40 and just splice the wires yourself without the adapter. There are some posts on the forum about how to do it. Let me know if you can't find them. I just don't like cutting wires in my truck. With the adapter, everything is easily and completely reversable.
Awesome! Thank you!I bought these in black:

Granted they are gloss black but look great with piano black a pillar accents already on truck. Do it. Easy install and instant lux look
Your Lightning looks awesome. Enjoy your camping trips!Added a couple of solar panels to run the fridge while we're camping.
And installed a custom grill in front of the louvers so junk doesn't make its way into the front scoop.
Thanks for sharing, Steve. Enjoy your vehicles and have fun camping with the Lightning!"The Falcon" got some EV company in the driveway today, a little sister named "Eva" (or Eve, from Wall-E)
She really likes the 80amp FCSP! Nice that it came with CCS.
The Lightning was my wifes daily driver and she enjoyed it, but wanted something easier to manage at work. Its short range is more than enough for an around town car.
And the Lightning will only get weekend use and camping trips in the summer, which is fine by me!
Your truck looks great! Where did you get the charge port cover stickers? This truck (and this thread) is going to be the death of my wallet. So many fun mods! I finally found some time this past weekend to install all the purchases I've made for my new truck:
Lower grill
Stubby antenna
Stickers!
Tonneau cover
Wireless charger
Seat Covers (my family destroys seats)
Underseat rear storage
Tuxmat Floor mats (love these!)
Console organizer
Mud flaps (painted of course)
And I installed the mechanism for accessing behind the rear seats.
Here she is after a bath and wax
There's a few places to find them, but I used this seller on Etsy:Your truck looks great! Where did you get the charge port cover stickers?
Link for this kit?FINALLY got around to doing this.
How it started...
How it ended......
I am not a tailor but I think it turned out pretty nice.
Got it from Amazon. $60
It says genuine leather.
Feels nice.
Took about 2 1/2 hours to install plus I watched a couple videos before hand. And I only drew blood twice.
Link for grill? I didn't see those on etsy.
