That’s some good info.ChatGPT says to this question:
What is a GVMS warning for ford, something to do with data or modules?
ChatGPT
In the context of Ford vehicles, a GVMS (Global Vehicle Management System) warning typically relates to issues with the vehicle's electronic control modules. This warning can occur during diagnostics or updates using Ford's Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS). It indicates that there might be problems with the data or communication between various control modules in the vehicle.
Common Causes and Solutions for GVMS Warnings:
Software Updates:
Modules might need updates or reprogramming to resolve compatibility or functionality issues.
Ensure that all updates are correctly applied using FDRS.
Module Communication:
GVMS warnings may arise if there is a failure in communication between modules.
Check all connections and wiring to ensure proper communication pathways.
Configuration Errors:
Incorrect module configuration can lead to GVMS warnings.
Verify and correct the configuration settings of the affected modules.
Data Corruption:
Corrupted data within a module can trigger GVMS warnings.
Re-flash or reset the module to clear corrupted data and restore proper operation.
Steps to Address GVMS Warnings:
Use FDRS:
Connect the vehicle to the Ford Diagnostic and Repair System (FDRS).
Identify the specific module(s) generating the GVMS warning.
Check for Updates:
Look for any available software updates for the affected modules.
Apply updates as necessary to ensure all modules are running the latest software versions.
Diagnose Communication Issues:
Perform diagnostic tests to check for communication failures between modules.
Repair or replace faulty wiring or connectors as needed.
Reconfigure Modules:
Reconfigure any misconfigured modules to their correct settings.
Use FDRS to ensure all configurations are accurate and up-to-date.
Reset or Re-flash Modules:
If data corruption is suspected, reset or re-flash the affected module.
This may involve clearing all data and reprogramming the module with correct software.
Addressing GVMS warnings typically requires a systematic approach to diagnosing and resolving issues with the vehicle's electronic control systems. If you are not familiar with these processes, it is recommended to seek assistance from a qualified Ford technician.

If everyone asks him to check twice in 4 days he's going to get burnt out. Give it a week or two, and by that time you'll likely know anyways.
