Hi Folks,
I have a 2023 extended range battery (unfortunately the truck was otherwise destroyed) and I would like to find out the canbus addresses so I can monitor the BMS for cell temps and voltages and control the contactors. Does any of you gurus know how I can do this? I have seen very little info on line. Thanks

I'm interested in this. I've been doing other can bus stuff. What is your current knowledge and capability in this realm? What equipment do you have?

The BCM would be a good start based on this:

Look at the Lightning specific BCM tab.

Very little knowledge. I have the battery the rest of the truck is gone so accessing the BMS will need help.

Before you do anything, do you know which pins power the BMS , and what voltage is needed to power it? How about the CAN high and low pins? Typically, we use CANalyzer to perform this type of work when we are charging/discharging a full pack outside of the vehicle.

I'm pretty sure you and @MickeyAO are the only two forums members that have an ER battery laying around! The rest of us are just happy to get an OTA update for anything other than karoke.

Have you done this already? I don't have the equipment (although I could get it) but it would be a steep learning curve. I have a friend in NZ who made a controller for me to use two Leaf motors and a Model S pack but doesn't have pin-out or canbus data for ford. He can program it to work if he has some of the info.
