I'm at a loss to explain these stats.

FordPass has a history of not providing reliable charging history. I try to take my own notes when DCFC for such instances as this.

Right but this is being reported from Tesla based on what they charged me.

$0.38 per kWh

38% conversion losses {nevermind DC charging has little conversion loss}

I vote munged up data for this session.

82.53 KWH stored energy = [131.000 KWH x .63]
134.016 KWH consumed energy

Oh! Does FordPass show anything different in your charge history? I'd dispute that charge with Tesla if that fee is based on the 134kWh. Never seen that from Tesla, but only used them 3 times.

First screenshot was FordPass and second was from billing email. I didn't initiate through Tesla app because plug and charge actually worked.

I'm just genuinely confused.

On a side note, I'm not terribly worried about the money because my truck has been powering my fridges, lights, fans, and (gas) hot water heater since Friday morning. Decided to hit the road while I still had enough juice to make it to that Supercharger. Escaping to Savannah to stay with our friends who usually come stay with us when they get hit by a hurricane.

OK, yeah if you went through Ford then it is more than likely a weird glitch on their end. We used to get reports charging at home that had whacked out numbers as well. Since Ford doesn't give you the discount, that price is probably accurate to the actual power taken in.

Glad to hear it's providing you some relief. Kids and I have been praying for a fast recovery in affected areas.

$50.92*.38c=134KW. Ouch. Please report it to Ford if you have the time. Dont want others to be on the recieving end of this.

Man ain't that something. I've been charging at the same supercharger every 3 days or so since this storm hit so the truck can power my house. I use the farthest right one every time so far with no issues.

Well glad it isn't a widespread issue. I think this was second from the left. I pulled forward over the parking stop and my driver headlight was right up against a power pole.

I have to pull over the parking stop also. That station is usually wide open. The spot to the right is always not in use when I use it.

I’ve seen screenshots of EA and EVGo chargers doing that once or twice, but it seems to be quite rare.

I used $675 worth of Supercharger sessions to get to the west coast and back last month. I never compared them with the FordPass log, but the numbers always seemed to line up. I never use Plug and Charge because it’s 25% more expensive than paying Tesla’s $13 membership and activating through their app. That fee pays for itself in a couple of sessions.

This was my session in Fargo last week.

You were on the charger for 55 minutes. What charge rate were you getting? I would have expected that charge time to be more like 35 minutes. If both FordPass and Tesla are reporting the same numbers that deserves a call to Ford to question the session.

I was running a couple of errands so wasn't watching it but I know it topped out at 180 kW when I first got there and quickly went down.
