I was running a couple of errands so wasn't watching it but I know it topped out at 180 kW when I first got there and quickly went down.
Any chance there were idle charges for 20 minutes that just translated to kw by incorrect math?

I don't believe it was ever idle. It was still actively charging when I disconnected. It was predicting I was another 25 minutes from 90% and I decided I didn't need that much juice so I left.

it is the old gas pump scam. someone borrowed you cord when you were dsictracted
That’s impossible. The session ends as soon as charging stops, and the pump has to be re-activated to resume charging. I sometimes have to do this when I need 100% and forget to change the default 90% cap.

The truck stops charging, I have to unplug, reauthorize the pump, and plug back in. It’s not possible to borrow a cord and steal someone’s power.

Sorry, it’s tough to tell sarcasm on the internet. My 72-year-old mom just got her first EV last year. She’s 100% believe me if I told her that.

Update for anyone that cares:

I signed up for the handy dandy 24/7 EV text system last Wednesday. As of today, I still haven't gotten any confirmation. When I go to the website now it just says that I have already signed up and to send an email if I haven't gotten the first text (which I did Saturday).

I live chatted the EV help and they were not able to help and gave me a phone number to call. (EDIT: I forgot the chat guy said something at the end about being able to help with my recall on lightbar. I told him I took it in July 23rd to get the recall done but they didn't have the parts and still haven't contacted me). After calling the phone number, I did a hilarious comedy routine of the automated guy saying "tell me in a few words what you called about or ask for a menu of options" and me asking for a menu and him repeating himself.

I finally got a live person on the phone to talk to me about paying off my truck's loan (I don't even have a loan with Ford). She transferred me to the "right" person. I think he introduced himself as a BEV expert. He did not know how charging worked and asked me several questions that seemed like he just genuinely wanted to understand (why didn't you use the Tesla app). I obliged by explaining the benefits of the Ford/Tesla relationship and Plug & Charge. I gave him all the info he asked for (where I was, if I had the Ford adapter, how long I was plugged in, how I knew my SoC, etc). He then put me on hold. I started typing this while on hold and after about 90 seconds I got routed to the "how did we do" questionnaire. I assume that means we got disconnected.

My blood pressure is through the roof so I probably will wait and call back another day or see if they actually call me back.
