I prefer to just use the App and not go to the truckJust discovered another fluke, but it's fixable, by using the DELETE button while editing the scheme. It will take extra time to SAVE to the cloud, and you will need to back up two menu levels to see the changes posted when you go back to the details screen.
In the truck SYNC screen we have a DELETE [time frames} button this is effectively the same and restores the ANYTIME condition
I do as well, but battling the glitches, slow storing process, and complete redesign with little documentation, it's maddening, imagine the folks less technically adept.I prefer to just use the App and not go to the truck
Ford really needs a "Precondition Now" buttonI do as well, but battling the glitches, slow storing process, and complete redesign with little documentation, it's maddening, imagine the folks less technically adept.
My wife would NEVER get any of this and to get the general population to adopt requires intuitive fast and well documented processes.
COme on @Ford Motor Company
Ford really needs a "Precondition Now" button
they need on with a "P" for preconditioning the battery onlyOnly with regard to battery warming process I appreciate the idea, otherwise this button is your next best solution but only for cabin conditioning.
BUTthey need on with a "P" for preconditioning the battery only
Easier to push a button than to have to set the time on the AppBUT
It's upwards of an hour prior the process is most effective, a lot of folks are sleeping in until the last minute of the morning, having a schedule takes care of business.
I can understand some folks have variable schedules, then your doing one of two things, editing the schedule or remembering to wake up, grab the phone early enough to click the [P] button then go about the morning constitutional routine and by the time you walk out the door she is ready to drive.
When I checked the sync screen, it did show the times I set up in the app, but the app still did not show it and it isn't conditioning for the time specified.Try adding it in the truck via the Sync screen, then see if the scheme is visible on the app.
Could be a cloud/server issue or configuration of your permissions in the truck.
EDIT: One more thing with ANDROID, force stop and clear the cache (not the data), then restart the app
what about the temp window that we discussed? It won't precondition unless the temps are below a certain valueWhen I checked the sync screen, it did show the times I set up in the app, but the app still did not show it and it isn't conditioning for the time specified.
Still something going on with communications between your truck and Fordpass. When I checked the sync screen, it did show the times I set up in the app, but the app still did not show it and it isn't conditioning for the time specified.
