Snow fell off of house roof onto driveway.

The heavy snow just fell off of my roof onto my driveway in front of my garage. I'm glad I decided to park my truck in the driveway tonight instead of inside the garage.

Call me skeptical, but that pile of snow looks like it’s a result of plowing your driveway. Maybe the picture doesn’t tell the whole story.

Being in Alaska, so probably has more than enough snow.

To me, the photo looks like a bunch of snow slid off a roof and onto his nicely plowed driveway.

But I agree others can see it another way. Just glad it missed his truck.

I have a metal roof and had anticipated that the snow would fall off soon, that is why I parked my Flash in the driveway instead of the garage. I spent 2 hours today with the snowblower getting the snow off of my decks and the driveway. I don't have my driveway plowed, I use a snowblower.

I was thinking metal roof or solar panels. Given the perfect amount of snow on either and it will slide. A faint rumble in the house followed by silence with a big pile of snow on the ground.

A couple years back we had a series of big snow storms. One morning it finally slid....I spent 30 minutes digging an escape path to be late for work...it all decided to fall about ten minutes before I was set to leave...sliding snow can be such a pain.
