Sure, but when you add "bike rack carrying, surf fishing gear hauling, and all the rest", as op suggests, you will lost those, and have to turn off front sensors at each start. Bluecruise not available either? Maybe? Dunno..

Looks quite skookum! However it will/can impede front sensors and cameras. I'm sure you've found this thusfar.
I’m pleased to say that I’ve experienced no interference with any of the sensors or cameras. I suppose it could happen with a bike rack or cooler cage (i.e., bigger, taller items) but I haven’t used those yet. Hitch plus ball mount have not caused any issues.

I think I want to buy one for my ‘22 Lariat. How do I make contact? What was the cost?
I’d suggest searching for his name on this site and then contact him via the messaging feature. If that doesn’t work, message me and I’ll try to help.

I apologize for not responding earlier. You can search for Garrett Blake on this site. He responded quickly to me and was very easy to work with. He’ll have to answer your question about pricing. Just know that the hitch is not a mass-produced item and the price reflects the craftsmanship.

I had searched in vain for a front hitch for my 2023 Lariat. Several months ago, Garrett Blake posted photos here of a hitch he had fabricated. It looked solid, I asked (begged, really) if he’d make one for me, and he agreed. Bless him. The hitch arrived recently, installed in about 15 minutes, and works like a charm. It is engineered with precision, built like a tank, and will meet all my needs for boat trailer maneuvering, bike rack carrying, surf fishing gear hauling, and all the rest. Like any hand-made work of art, it wasn’t inexpensive, but it absolutely is worth every penny.

Here are some photos:

I was just trying to see Mr. Garrett Blake s membership area and he seems not to be a member of this group at this time. I am considering fabricating this hitch also, but have some concerns on the front tow loops capacity if I use it for certain heavier possibilities. Have you done anything heavy (5000# or so) uses with your front hitch? Thanks much for your response. I am a new member and appreciate your posting these images.

I have not done anything that heavy. I use it for pushing boats on trailers into skinny spots and carrying cargo/bike racks.

Thanks for your quick reply. I do love the idea that these can be taken off quickly with 2 pins and the quality of the work was obvious. I wonder if the gentleman who made these for you has a machine shop since it sure looks like it. Anyway I am wondering about it since on my Lightning I use a rear hitch snow plow (snowsport hd). Now I do not have any problems using it driving in reverse, but it sure would be nice to be able to mount it in the front primarily due to visibility issues during night and bad weather. The rear camera and the side mirrors do get messed up during any real snow event so a front mount would simply alleviate most visibility issues. As for my other desires, I do use an E-Bike carrier, but I like it on the back hitch for less wind resistance. I have had the opportunity to push a car carrier trailer around, but for intricate parking issues, I already have an electric trailer dolly to park that type of trailer when its going to a tight space, so the truck would not need to do as you do with the boats. Heck and simply put I like making stuff, so might use your hitch as a template just to make one similarly, because its fun. So thanks for the info.
