Update:
Yesterday I opened and closed the frunk (making sure nothing impeded the closing).
I also cycled the climate settings on the Sync 4 control panel. First on to off, then back to on. Then I changed from Auto to Last Used Settings.
After making these changes, I was able to remote start the climate. And, the heat cycled on this morning per my scheduled start time. I noticed it had missed a few days this past week.
I really doubt the frunk had any impact, but I did it anyway. I do think that the cycling the climate controls was what made this all work.
Everything is working well now.

P.S. I wish I had isolated the experiment and done the frunk operation (open then close) and tested the remote start)

Not to worry, IMHO that might have been a coincidence in my experience.
Glad you have it working to your satisfaction!

Having the same issues since a few days ago.

So it seems after my update a few days ago, or maybe for no reason at all, my remote start and departure times have broken.

TLDR; seems like the truck is going into some kind of deep sleep and not responding to remote commands after a certain period of time. If I get out and walk away and hit remote commands within a few minutes;no problem. If I wait like an hour to lock/unlock/climate, I get a failed notification.

What I’ve noticed so far:

-Two days ago I left work at 5 expecting my departure time to be working and got into a cold truck.

-The next morning at 7:40 while plugged in it was working fine for departure time.

-I left work for lunch, hitting the remote start button 10 minutes before I leave, only to get to my truck and it wasn’t on.

-I got to my daughter’s school and decided to test it after getting out and into her school. Everything worked fine.

-Head to the gym, work out for an hour, and try to remote start before I leave. Nothing.

-Get back to work, try a remote start when I get to my desk, everything is working.

-a few hours later at work i try from my desk, remote start fails. I go out and restart sync, walk away and remote start, locks, everything is working again.

-5pm comes (a few hours later) and my scheduled departure doesn’t work. I try it manually and it won’t respond.

Seems the truck “goes to sleep” after a period of time and FordPass isn’t t able to reach it.

Help.

As for the so-called "Sync" systems, I hate it when the Ford Navigation GPS location is lost when I am parked at home (a supposedly known location) and the charging goes to 100%, even though "one time" charging was set to 85% previously and no updates have come through lately. Last couple of days, my truck has either been in the ocean or deep in the roadless part of the national forest [even Android Auto is taken over by the Ford GPS for both G-Maps and Waze]. January, 2025, I will take it in for the latest Customer Service Programs and hope for that problem to finally go away after 2 years of not so intermittent problems. I wonder if Ford would give me a couple more years of free navigation before it runs out. Public charging location finding sucks as well.

Tech replaced a cable connecting circuit board long ago for an attempt at a fix, but not reliable. If GPS was completely unplugged, I would expect no change in location when driving, but [AA and] Ford Nav just wobbles off road and leaves the blue breadcrumbs on the maps listening to Russian Global Positioning Satellites perhaps.
Maybe cooler weather has shortened the cables just enough to freak out the system.
But I was also waiting for the SSM 52574, APIM update needed to fix Sync4 static, etc, problems, to be ready to go...any idea on this SSM? There is a thread on this, I believe, from May, 2024? At least August: https://www.f150lightningforum.com/...4-solutions-being-developed.19619/post-411460
Anyone have access to OASIS to monitor the promise of SSM 52574?

Moto G Stylus g5 2024. An older unit was having Android Auto or bluetooth phone static problems. I would doubt the phone is causing the Nav GPS problems. Normally, only the Ford Nav was having a problem, not the AA. Android phone Maps work fine outside the truck, so I think it is Ford Nav messing up. I think someone had a pinched cable for one cause, but I do not know how the GPS antenna would be thrown off by X number of miles by a bad connection. I hope Ford dealer tech, Ford Engineering, has a permanent fix in January.
