85% charge.

When I opened the drivers door to get in today, the display showed this…
260mi of range, 0% level of charge. Hmmm….

All other SOC indications are 85%

I see the 0% frequently in my truck despite also showing plenty of range. It hasn't bothered me enough to dig further.
Certainly interested to see if others report the same and have done any troubleshooting.

I get this every once in a while as well. I believe a particular module wasn't turned on first or in time which causes it to read a null (ie 0) value.

Probably why the use the start-up animations to hide the boot loader

I get this when open the passenger door (to retrieve something from the truck or check something out). At first I found it strange, but now I'm used to it.

If you get that with your fob in a pocket, perhaps a low battery in the fob?
Normal without a fob.

I don't find it normal without the fob. I unlock the truck every morning to close my garage door using the Home link button as I head out on my run. I never have my fob and usually see the expected distance and percentage values.

As a week old lightning owner and owner of 3 other EV’s, FORD has some pretty lame gremlins in a system that’s already out dated and android like cumbersome.

I've seen this on my old Mach E on occasion. I used to freak out over it, but then began to ignore it.

I see this almost every morning going to work. I open the passenger door drop my lunch and computer on the seat and see the dash light up 0% no matter what the actual charge state.

Usually by the time I walk around and open the driver's door it'll display the proper % but sometimes it is still showing 0.

Just another software bug. 😕
