check that you have the connectors for the new style harness. Comma redesigned about 2 months ago. Pins are the same but connector is different.

Just ordered the new white connectors. I think everything else is the same (hopefully).

OBD just keeps device powered between drives. if you don’t mind waiting on it to boot every time you can omit it.

I just got mine plugged in finally, doesn’t seem to boot without the OBD plugged in. No blue led or anything. It does boot with the OBD plugged. I wonder if they made a change?

No. if it’s not booting when the truck cranks then it’s not getting 12v through the USB cable, which is an issue. It won’t be able to detect when the vehicle starts a drive.

Interesting. This is the same guy from the discord in a panic (which you probably deduced by now). I wonder if something is wrong with my Q4 or comma? This test was done without the extension, so only comma components. This may tie into my other problems. I’ll take some videos when I get time to play with it and share them on the Discord. Thanks as always!

Turns out I stink at crimping those tiny pins. It I keep trying, I’m going to use them al up, and they are on back order. Anyone willing to make up the extension harness for me? I’ll ship all my materials, and pay for your time. Also will throw in a set of tow hook covers!

Can confirm it works once you add ACC. Been a few guys to do it, including some not on here.

Only on 2022, 2023 models. 2024 doesn't work. I use BluePilot on my XLT ER and love it.

Can confirm it works once you add ACC. Been a few guys to do it, including some not on here.

I have a 2023 XLT with ACC and use BluePilot daily. Works great.

Does the the new Q4 need the extension you made, sorry if i overlooked it. I have a 2022 xlt with lane keep but not ACC but i have forscan. Thanks in Advance

You do still need the extension. I don’t really have any time until May to do one, but there is a guy on discord who said he was interested. I’ll ask him what he charges.

have you already ordered your ACC parts?


Also comma has been shipping a lot of the v1 harnesses lately, so I guess no one needs to buy extension components until they get the harness and see if it’s a v1 or v2
