LOL @ people thinking 2026 is decades away. Deliveries in 2026 on a new platform truck sounds good to me. I’ll be ready to upgrade by then. For now I’m going on 2 problem-free years with my Lightning.

I'm curious if in 2026 you'll still have that 22 Lightning reservation .

Not really disappointing, since it was so predicable

Ford has said T3 is an internal code name. It is not from my understanding going to be the actual name of the truck.

I thought it was a Terminator, whew

Would not be surprised if Ford ends up increasing /beating projected sales # for 2025. The past 3-4 months have seen a big increase in lightnings in my area. The price point seems to be finally in line with what they were supposed to be. Right around Ice model pricing but with lower maintenance costs / better performance which would make it a good alternative. When companies started raising the prices of EVs significantly higher than the gas models that’s when you saw a big blow back on EVs.

There were many problems: inflation, parts shortages, etc. I think that is mostly behind us, but not entirely. Ford also keeps trimming features and other things we are probably not aware of to keep driving costs down. Not to mention, they were expecting to be running full, bore on production, and then sales fell off a cliff due to the increased prices among other things.
