Yes, he is missing the point of these changes. It is like eliminating the CFPB (Consumer Protection). Especially if you want X to be an everything Ap. After-all it roots out real fraud and returned $21B back to the public!
Oh wait, isn't this the one where they accidentally put a B instead of an M in one of those.

Whoops, that was 8 million saved, not 8 BILLION...

But hey, this is the "Tesla" of government orginizations...

The fact that anyone can believe a sieg heil throwing person has good intent, defies logic. Anything a nazi supports needs to be evaluated, to say the very least.

If you think anything good is going to come out of this group I have a college diploma and some steaks to sell you.

The last coming flood was when Hertz sold off their fleet of Teslas (renting an electric car, not my idea of fun).
I don't pay any attention to the used market, but I don't think it was terrible for the used market.

With the Feds now removing all EV chargers from their buildings, there will be 10,000? low mileage Lightnings & other EV's coming into the used market?

In a March 2024 press release, the GSA announced that more than 58,000 zero-emission vehicles had been ordered and that more than 25,000 new charging ports had begun installation. Actually, how many ZEVs were received and chargers installed between then and now is unclear.

Not sure how this jibes with the report last week about the State Dept buying armored EVs. Seems like our current "leadership" is a bit confused about what each part is doing.

I'd be a dictator, I have ZERO patience for incompetence.

Side note:

I'm scratching my head over last Thursday's news report the IRS has separated ~6700 probationary employees, of this population, about 5000 Revenue Officers (what I used to be) and Revenue Agents (the auditor geeks) !!!

These folks were hired under the provisions of the inflation reduction act over the past couple of years, take note the meme's and rumors that IRS hired 87,000 people is a fallacy, the "law" permitted them to hire this quantity over TEN YEARS!!!

Now, the head scratcher, these new employees, were still going through the initial year of training and coming up to speed, it takes several years to become fully effective collectors an auditors, money down the drain.

These folks would cross fill older staff who are on the verge of retiring, I retired on 2/28/2019, along with thousands every year retiring, the IRS would barely be keeping pace with aged attrition.

Now for the nut-kicker, the revenue to salary efficiency of an auditor or collector was at a minimum of 10 to 1 to as high as 50 to 1 depending on the case work and compliance failures in certain parts of the nation.

I'm failing to see the EFFICIENCY in this decision to discharge probationary staff.
You fail to see the efficiency because that's not the goal. Castrating the gov't and making it impossible to catch those cheating on their taxes is the goal. Us W-2 worker bees will still have to pay because of automatic withholding, but those who take in their money through other means that require enforcement to ensure are paid will reap untold benefits.

" I'm failing to see the EFFICIENCY in this decision to discharge probationary staff."

Don't listen to the words being used, this has as much to do with efficency as a hat has to a cell phone. The problem is you're thinking correctly and bringing experience and knowledge to football riot. IGNORE THE WORDS, THEY'RE ALL BS!. This is about the handlers with money setting themselves up and don't let the words do anything to make you one think differently.

It's just knee kick, stupid reflex- Anything the Great Satan (previous administration) did, I'll cancel culture it right out!

Apparently. I hope this craziness leads to him being ousted by Tesla board.
Not likely. That's the same board who approved the crazy pay package for him that the courts later turned down.

Itā€™s because there is no efficiency. Itā€™s cuts for the sake of cuts with no thought given. But if youā€™re looking to evade taxes and not get audited you probably think itā€™s great! šŸ˜†

Wait, youā€™re telling me that all these billionaires arenā€™t working tirelessly to solve the working manā€™s problems? šŸ˜®
