Teach my 2024 ER Lightning That There is a FCSP at Home

Is this even possible? I live in a rural area. The nearest public charging station is 25 miles away. That location shows up on the native navigation as well as third party navigation such as Waze and Google Maps. If I ask the Lightning to navigate to my home from afar and the range is low enough, I would end up going out of my way to that nearest charging station instead of the shorter distance to my home. I called FordPass Help for tech support to no avail. The FCSP is linked to my FordPass App. I do have a daily departure time set for 9am each day.

Am I missing something? Is there a known solution

In the Nav settings lower the min charge to arrive at destination to 10%. Try add charging station . If you have charged at home it should show as a location.

In the main Charge menu item in the car add location
There should be a list of locations where you’ve charged. You can set home charge preference to 80%

The problem you're describing has been observed early on by model year 2022 members, IIRC we can't force the NAV system to honor our home location as a qualified charging point for "PLANNING" purposes.

The work around alluded to above, is to lower the warning setting for when you'll be alerted that your range is low and that a charging stop is needed, the lowest you can select is 20 miles, if you're cutting that close and you know you can make it just ignore the offers to navigate to an alternate charging station listed in the navigation system.

Goto Settings, Vehicle, Low Battery, adjust warning level, but note this does not resolve your navigation route planning if it thinks you can't make the destination. But you can minimize the warnings

Pro Power On board also has a reserve setting, that you can lower to 10 miles if you want to suppress extraneous warnings

Question about this as I am new to the lightning as well. I took a trip last weekend and the Ford NAV had me getting to a charge station with less than 20 miles. I am not comfortable with cutting it that close. Can I change it to route me to closer charge stations?

Solution: Never use the Ford NAV and just do the math ((State of Charge %) x (Battery Size (131 or 98)) x (Current Trip Miles / kwh)) yourself. Your life will be better without Ford NAV.

Ok I was hoping it would make my life easier lol. I did plan alternative charging stations just in case.
