That's awesome! I've been meaning to get down to the local test n tune and run mine. Until I do I'll just tell everyone it can run a 12.7 instead of the 12.9 I've been telling them.

He lifted when he knew he was beat. It was the first time on a track for him. He had bad tire spin off the line. I have raced a lot, but the immediate torque helped my reaction time. That and no tire spin.

My dad ran D-Stock drag racing in the 60’s. Ran a 56 Chevy.

Had a world title in 68 from Lions Drag strip (trophy was taller than me at 8 years old). As I recall - it was in the 13 second range, but as you can imagine my memory is a bit sketchy of the details from 1968.

I keep telling folks this truck is faster than my dad’s drag racer. Thanks for confirming.

I always get a kick out of these kinds of races.

I wonder if ICE sports car drivers are still surprised when a 7 thousand pound full sized truck springs ahead of them.

I know they love the roar of their engines, but frankly, I just love how quiet an EV rides.

I've never done a drag race, its on my bucket list. Never would have guessed a pickup might be my vehicle of choice
