Although I likely won't take delivery of my truck after all that has happened (I believe the tire change also has negative tax implications for those of us in Colorado further impacting what has already turned into a losing deal) the possibility of taking delivery before year's end is about the only thing that would give this even a sliver of a chance for me.

With that in mind, I've been following posts in this thread and the more recent ones have triggered my curiosity. I checked the link provided previously with my VIN to see that I've got a ton of modules listed and a 4-digit tear tag. Does this mean this truck is either built or close to being built? I have no updates from Ford as I've seen some post an actual build date and progress when the last thing I got from Ford was the 12/12 build week update. Nothing since.

How are people seeing next step info like when it's loaded on delivery and these sorts of things? Is this where I would need to reach out to the dealership/salesman so they can check these sorts of things or can I attain this myself somehow?

@Ostrichsak my recent experience is that the links we're all following provide "some" insight on the build of the trucks and yes, if you have Modules being loaded it seems that your truck is being put together. If you have a TearTag, that seems to indicate the truck is built (I have both now). I would check with your Ford Dealer and ask them to check their "New Locator" for an update. My Dealer contacted me and said based on his checking of the New Locator my truck is built and has been released to the transport company and stated the transporters name. He said his old locator showed the same state as I'm seeing online.

Your truck is nearing built status, but there could still be a parts hold up.

Look at your personal order page for indication of the built date, or look at the public trackers in the US Ford Vehicle Order Tracking-USA or Canada Ford Vehicle Order Tracking-Canada

They will show the date of when it's classified as BUILT, then you will continue monitoring until you see it classified as SHIPPED, but there won't be a date on the time bar for exactly when it happened, then you can get into train spotting by calling Ford Customer service to secure the rail tracking code for rail car your truck will be on, and follow its journey across the country, once the train car arrives, it will be unloaded in a few hours to a few days, then sit for who knows how long before a last mile convoy truck hauls it to your dealer, at that point on it arriving at the dealer they will accept it into inventory and the online personal order tracker and public tracker will indicate it is being prepared, you will also get emails at the built, shipped and ready to purchase phases.

Got my tear tag this morning. AsBuilt service was down for quite a while. I don't know my "order number" for https://shop.ford.com/vehicleordertracking - my 9 digit reservation/order number don't work for that.

order number is the 4 digit number in the "item :" box on your window sticker. there should be a "YY-XXXX" so the order number is the XXXX

Is the only way to find out you are chip hold to call customer service? i have my tear tag and all but order tracking does not say built. I did have a spray in liner too.

I've got Tear Tag this afternoon and my Dealer just messaged me that the truck is built.

He said is shows that it was received by the transport company and that historically it about 10 days to get here from this point.

I'm stunned and in disbelief...

This would be a record if so. Fastest production week date to delivery on TaxMan's tracker is 16 days and there are only 9 other orders less than 20 days, and 8 of these were 2022 builds.

This would be 12 days? You do have the new third shift and location going for you so I wish you luck!

The last update from my dealer (yesterday) was that based on what he's seeing with the GPS updates in the system, my truck has gone back and forth to different locations in the plant (He said probably quality checks). He also said the last time this happened, he got two different notifications back to back...the first said the truck left the plant and the second said it was delivered to the dealership. He was off and called the dealership and told him the truck had just been delivered.

He still feels we're within 10 days of delivery... I'll let the group know as soon as there's a change. Now I'm excited about the possibility of end of year tax rebate so of course it won't get here...lol.
