Just finished a FORD Chat session and even when we get a Built date...apparently truck is still under inspection and quality control until released...at least that's where they said mine is presently...so still a ways to go !!!

I know it is hard while so many are waiting, but indeed it can and I guess eventually will happen. Mine is home in the garage, with only 3 inches to spare.

Dealer picked it up either late Thursday or early Friday July 15
I picked it up at the dealer July 15 late afternoon.

Another Dirty Jerzy guy here. Built date of 06/19. Estimated delivery 07/02 to 07/08. No shipment update on Ford tracking. Ford pass was denied twice, last on 06/28.
Can't access the VIN #. My dealer has no info.

For those fellow 5/23’ers still waiting, let me tell you, its worth the wait. I wish Ford could be better about the status updates, but I have to say they have a winner on their hands with the Lightning. I just can’t get over how quiet and powerful the truck is! One thing I didn’t realize I would feel so weird to me is not feeling the transmission shift points. Power is just linear and it feels so odd not having those little blips in the power band.

I've put about 100 miles on and so far the biggest issue is the ride could be a little more firm in the front end. I want a good comfortable ride, but I prefer and would think it would be a little stiffer just for ride and handling. I know this is likely just because I drove the Tesla for 4 years.

Thanks, one of the best investments I made after we purchased our house a few years back.

The biggest “issue” I’ve had so far has been that CarPlay sometimes doesn’t know to connect. It doesn’t happen every time, but did happen twice today. Not sure exactly why.

Looking at @TaxmanHog sheets, it looks like I am now the oldest without a built date (some are missing built but they have other dates listed for shipped and delivered or messages that they received their truck). Hopefully, I get one soon and maybe karma will give me a ship date along with other stragglers.

Will not start to make noise with Ford until Monday.

Take it on some back roads with the twisties, the truck handles amazingly.

Figured I would check on Ford Chat to see if I could find some more information. Looks like no real car number I could get, but, was picked up by a carrier at a rail yard in Jessup,MD to goto Sterling, Virginia, looks like a good chance to get the beginning of 7/18-7/24 window. I believe em...
